Celebrate the Dream 2008

Well, I am back from Seminar! The theme for it was Celebrate the Dream. It was soo hot in Dallas. My hair had issues! HA! Anyway, the first thing most of us did was check in to our hotel, of course and head to the Mary Kay Manufacturing company. We saw soo many products be made and packaged. This is Jill, Sheila, me, Christy, Sarah, Debbie, and Donna.
Here are the lipsticks being made and on the conveyer belt. Neat!
Here I am surrounded by lipstick, self tanning lotion, perfume, and satin hands.
Hard workers at the manufacturing place. One man made this with MK mineral powder and mineral eye shadows!

We stopped at the Mary Kay Headquarters and saw the museum and this beautiful sign outside.
Mary Kay Ash's office was sooo big!
I am going to drive one of these someday! But I want the smaller one.
Christy, Amy Bowman, and me before Seminar began. We were soo excited!
Pretty!

This year is Rena Tarbet's last year as an active National Sales Director for MK. She is a wonderful lady and is so courageous. Brenda, Christy, Sarah, Debbie, and me at the annual awards night for Rena's Area! We had steak, potatoes, chocolate cake...yum! It was very nice.
Rena is just soo sweet and a great Christian woman.
Brenda, me and Amy after awards night.
We got all dressed up for the big awards night. It was sooo great!

Friends of Tyme, a singing group entertained us a lot!
And of course, here is another pink cadillac.

Every year at the end of the seminar, there is a candle light vigil. It was so sad and sweet too.
I learned so much. It was just a wonderful experience.

So this weekend was packed full of so many things! Well, sometimes Russell gets off work on Fridays early so he did this Friday! We went to a matinee movie to see Mamma Mia! It was sooo sooo great!!! A very positive, upbeat happy movie! And I LOVE anything HAPPY! Ha! Anyway, it was fun. Saturday, Christy, a new Mary Kay Consultant, Hazell and I went to Hot Springs for our Mary Kay awards night! I know ya'll are looking at the picture above! I just thought it was so interesting. Brenda is our director and this is a doll of Mary Kay Ash, herself! This is in her office. Funny!
Here we are! Hazell, Christy, and Meredith before the awards night started
I got #4 in Brenda's Unit!
Some of us from her unit who were in the top ten
Brenda and Me! Brenda is sooo sweet! Awards Night was so fun. Dinner was great of course, too! Christy, Hazell and I didn't get home until 1 yesterday morning! But it was worth it. Today, I was so very tired! I missed church. Later this afternoon, Russell wanted to go see The Dark Knight. It was very intense and definitely not my favorite but anyway!!! We got to the theater around 2:30 to see the 3:10 show and there was already lines all around the cinema practically just for this one movie! We decided to go to the 3:50 show. We got in line early and got much better seats too. So Mamma Mia was my favorite. That's all I'm saying! HA! Then we went out to eat at On the Border for dinner-yum.

Next is....Mary Kay Seminar 2008! It will be my first one and this year they have been really updating things and there are so many new things too! I will leave early Wednesday and come back on Saturday! Summer is just BUSY!!! Hope yall have a wonderful day.

Jennifer's Wedding

Okay! The wedding of the year just happened! HA! Jennifer is so special to me. Her and Matthew Euler have been dating for years! They finally got married! They have such a love story too! Here is a pic of the rehearsal dinner guest book table. I loved the display. BEAUTIMOUS!
Aren't they just the cutest couple!!! Precious! They mean so much to Russell and me. When Russell and I had our "blind date" 3 years ago, I told Jennifer how nervous I was. She offered for her and Matt to go with us to the movies after we had dinner! And Matt lived in Cabot then! He drove all the way to Camden just for our blind date. I will never forget how much that meant to us.
I took a billion pics...no not really! HA! Here we are...the 4 of us!

And here she is! Jennifer Rose Jordan Euler all ready for the wedding. She looked timeless!
Here we are! Me and Jenny Rose!I loved the colors for her wedding! Perfect!
Her sisters putting on her veil...so sweet. This is Ann Marie and Mary Catherine.
Two inseperable flower girls! Lauren and Anna! Look at their "mini bouquets!" Those girls did not leave each others sight! They did a great job!
3 or 4 of the bridesmaids bouquets. GORGEOUS!!!

Matt and Jennifer say their vows.
The photographer wanted to take a lot of funny shots and none of us knew what to do! HA! SEE? FUNNY!
Someone told me that Jennifer designed this cake. She drew it all out for the bakery who did it! I am not surprised that Jennifer did that! It is so pretty!

Sweet Logan and Lauren at the fancy reception!
Mama, Kelly, Daddy, Russell and Me
DANCING!!! At first, Lauren was shy about dancing, then she just got on out there and had so much fun! So did we!
Saying bye to Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Euler. They are now in Mexico on their honeymoon. Here is Logan with sparklers! He loved them!
So yes, I did sing, but it was a song called, "Only God Could Love You More." It was a pretty song. The minor problem was that the pastor forgot about my song until after the unity candle!!!! :( I didn't get to stand up there w/ the other bridesmaids for very long! Anyway! I have to say again, the wedding was fabulous and I hope ya'll enjoyed the pics!!

Wedding and Singing

Okay, so I mentioned earlier that I am going to be a bridesmaid in my cousin, Jennifer's wedding. Just tonight, she called me and asked me to sing a song in her wedding that I have never heard before! It's called "Angels Brought Me Here". So I just wanted to share a little bit of my panic! HA! I mean, I know I can do it, but right now I am just a little worried! I have done things like this before, but this is my cousin and friend's wedding!!!! I don't wanna mess up obviously! hehehe....huh...So that's my feelings in a nutshell. I don't even know what note it starts on! God is in control no matter what happens! He will help me for sure! Oh and by the way...the BIG DAY is on Saturday!

Kelly, Mama, Logan & Lauren Come

Sunday night, Mama, Kelly, Logan and Lauren came to visit Russell and I. Well, also Kelly really wanted to see Sarah Kate, Laurie's sweet little baby. Sunday we ate dinner with Aunt Molly at Abuelo's. It was oh so yummy! We had camera issues-either battery low or no camera card...that figures! HA! I made a homemade apple pie for dessert. Monday, we visited Laurie, Emily and the baby. She is adorable! We ate at Gusano's Pizza for lunch. Then we went to BLaRue Gift shop. It is such a cute place. Mama and Kelly sure enjoyed it. We shopped around at the promenade also. Last night, I made Chicken Supreme, rice, and green bean casserole (my mother-in-laws specialty). I also made cookie delight for dessert. Russell enjoyed being a kid again with L & L. We love being their aunt and uncle! Today, we ate lunch at a really yummy place, The Crumpet Tea Room. We really enjoyed it!

This was our photo op. We had the camera charged today! YAY! This summer has been sooo busy. My cousin, Jennifer is getting married Saturday. I am a bridesmaid in her wedding. I miss her! Her wedding will be so beautiful!

Here is Logan with his goodie bag I made for them and Speed Racer episodes.
We had so much fun with family like we always do! I am so glad they came to visit again!

Happy 4th of July and a Tribute to a Soldier

These are my cousins, Ryan and Brooke Jordan. They are brother & sister. Ryan is such a brave soldier. He left for Iraq with the 39th infantry in March. Today I think of him and all our soldiers out there. They are all awesome and sooo strong. Please pray for him. We do get updates every now and then about him too.
This is a picture of some of the Jordan cousins! All 6 of us have been close because we're so close in age. This picture was taken at the Rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding. I really like this picture.

So I hope you all have had a very great 4th of July. I always think of our freedom and jut all the blessings we have today.

Have a great weekend, ya'll!

A Few of My New Favorites!

Today, I wanted to share with ya'll some of my new favorite things!

I have always LOVED Vera Bradley. While on vacation, I stopped in a precious gift shop that had TONS of Vera Bradley everything! I loved this design. It's called, "Puccini." I got a purse sort of like this for the Fall. CUTE!

But while we're still in Summer, I found these shoes by Yellow Box. My sister, Kelly has been raving about these and so has my hair stylist (she is so sweet too!) so I got these and wore them during our vacation. They are super comfortable but a little pricy for flip flops. I think it's worth it though.
Also, ya'll all know I love Karen Kingsbury books now. This is the 4th one from the Redemption series. It was just sooo good! I think I finished it in a little over a week! HA! So soon I'll be starting......
This book! Cannot wait for it! OH! One more of a few of my faves is.........

Army Wives! I love this show!

So I hope all of you have an awesome day! I am trying to get my house in order again. It seems like every time we leave to go out of town, it takes forever to get back to your routine...!
