Jackson's Peter Rabbit Nursery

Hey everybody! Jackson wants to say hi to y'all!
Hello from Jackson! Mommy is going to show y'all my room. I love it and I hope y'all will enjoy a little sneak peek. :) Love, JRP

Come on in to little Jackson's nursery. My sweet friend, Sarah, made this sign for me. It's so cute!

Here is what you see right when you walk in. If you can't tell, the theme is Peter Rabbit. The nursery is very traditional and classic. I wanted the nursery to be soft colors and perfect for baby Jackson to enjoy. We chose Jenny Lind furniture and it ended up to be absolutely perfect.

Changing table and dresser. I have not found a good changing pad cover yet. It's still on my to-do list. HA!

A few details on the dresser. The treasury of Peter Rabbit book set was mine.

I plan to get shelves. Another thing on my to-do list. HA!

Jemima Puddle Duck night light, framed picture of sweet J, and the sound machine we use every night for Jackson.

Books!

More books!

I can't wait til Jackson can wear this! Perfect!

I'm back! Thank you for visiting my room. I am such a happy baby and that makes Mommy and Daddy happy, too. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Jeremiah 32:17

Peter Rabbit Garden Tea

I am now 34 weeks along with Baby Jackson. We are so ready to meet him, but until then, we will continue to celebrate him! :) My best friend, Amy and her mom, Debbie threw us a wonderful "Peter Rabbit Garden Tea" baby shower! It was just perfect.
The invitation. So tasteful!

Too cute!

Jackie, Kelly, Mama, me, and Lauren. Love them so.

My adorable Mama and me!

The hostesses and I before we got started with the party!

Mama was admiring the adorable food display. It was really fun and cute.

Bunny display with fresh carrots. Too fun!

Fun cookies.

Gifts for Jackson!

Me and Kelly with the bubble she, Eric, Logan and Lauren got Jackson. I admit, I did cry a tad. It was just perfect. It is Peter Rabbit with Jackson's name on it. Precious!

Laynette and Robin. Such sweet ladies.

Jackie and Debbie

Lauren and Leighann really had fun together, too.

Kelly, my aunt, Molly, my aunt Dodie, Mama, and me! Love my family!

Love Amsie!

Me with my dear friend, Mandy. Love her!

Everyone got to take home a favor after the shower. How sweet are the flower pots? Love them.

Russell came after the shower and helped load gifts. We just had to get a few pictures with this display! It was all fresh veggies, from Mr. McGregor's garden, of course. :)

Me and my love. We are truly happy and cannot wait to meet our sweet baby boy!

Love.
We are so very ecstatic. It is definitely getting real. The nursery is ALMOST complete. I will post pictures of it when it's finished.
We are so thankful for all our family and friends. Sweet, sweet blessings from God.

Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them. John 14:21

Raining Babies....A Spring Shower for Jackson

We are tickled to celebrate Jackson in every way possible. What better way to celebrate than a baby shower? I grew up in South Arkansas and lived there until Russell and I married. My hometown church threw a baby shower for Jackson and it was so fun, sweet, and beautiful.
A close family friend, Kim, hosted the shower at her gorgeous home. When I walked in the dining room, I was just floored! Everything in the house was decorated so special and with Jackson's nursery theme in mind. :)

When I saw this cake, I almost teared up a bit. So special!

Jackie, Lauren, Kelly, and Mama

Pretty packages all wrapped up!

Even more precious decorations

Look at this Peter Rabbit carousel? They let us take it home and it's sitting in his nursery now. Just adorable!

Love this beautiful quilt! We will definitely put it to good use!

It was great to see my sweet friends, Haley and Brittany! They mean so much to me!

And I just adore sweet Emily. I was so glad to see her home from college for the weekend!

Emily and Kim, mother and daughter. They are so fun and I love them lots.

Mama and Kelly!

Me and Kelly. Memories definitely come to mind when I attended her baby showers when she was pregnant with Logan. So special and fun.

Heather, Angie, and baby Zachary!

The proud grandmothers

Lauren is such a wonderful niece! Can't say it enough.

Russell came at the end to help load gifts in the car. So glad he could come help!

Heather, Kim, me, Camille, Terri, Mary, and Janet.
Love all of these ladies so much! Thank you all so much for everything. The shower was just incredible.

We had a short but very sweet weekend. The shower was such a celebration of springtime, but the next day in Bentonville was frigid...and that's a total understatement. Hey, spring was good while it lasted. Hope we actually get a spring. :) I am sure we will. Spring and Fall are my favorites!
We will continue to get Jackson's nursery more in order and can't wait to show it to y'all!

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Mark 10:14
