Happy Birthday from Jackson

Jackson Randolph Price was born on Monday, April 21st!
He has a special birthday message for his cousin.
Happy 12th Birthday, Lauren! I hope you have a special day! I am so glad our birthdays are so close together. I love you!

Happy Easter 2014

Happy Easter, everyone!
I am making this post short and sweet. I wanted to share a picture from what I am guessing is from Easter 1991. I love that cute yellow and brick house that I grew up in. :)
But most of all, I love and adore who is in the picture. Daddy, Mama, Kelly and me. Love it lots!
Next Easter, our baby Jackson will be here and he will probably be walking around our house and getting in to who knows what! Tomorrow, we will be resting up, finishing last minute things, and watching our church service online.

This song is one of my new favorites. It's especially great for Easter, as it's the perfect reminder that Jesus has overcome the world! He has it all in His hands! We cannot wait to teach Jackson all about Jesus and how much He loves us.

We will update the blog as soon as we can with updates on baby day!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Peter 1:3

Pre Baby Fun

This is just a post about our life lately. It's been a pretty busy couple of weeks.
My mom, Russell and I met my aunts and cousins for dinner at Mellow Mushroom last Friday. We had to get a pic of the cousins for sure! I am the oldest-yet the shortest. That's how it is in my life! HA! It was awesome to catch up with Emily and Cliff!

My mama and her sisters, Dodie and Molly.
We had a fun time enjoying pizza and catching up.

Russell and I have tried to spend more quality time together since our sweet baby will be here VERY soon. We went to one of our very favorites, The Venesian Inn.

We hardly ever get an appetizer there, but we splurged for the night. Awesome ravioli!

Spaghetti-oh so good. I took more than half of this plate home. It was so good though!

Russell found a robin's nest with the mama robin protecting her eggs. Oh, the beauty of spring.

Beautiful blue eggs. They have not hatched yet, but we are keeping a lookout for them to hatch.

Belle now loves the nursery. She has a new hiding spot-under the crib!
Are y'all ready to see her little makeover? Get ready........

Oh my word! She looks so pitiful in this picture. She just got groomed this morning and she is still getting used to the haircut. Love her blue bows, though! :)

Okay, I have a bit of an update for y'all. Last week, we went to my OB appointment and I had an ultrasound to check the baby's size and measurements. Well, he weighed approximately 7 lbs 7 oz last Wednesday! Also, there have been a few doctors who are familiar with the blood clot fiasco, and my doctor has been in close contact with them to decide when to induce labor, which was recommended and the best thing for me and Jackson.
I will be admitted to the hospital on Sunday and induced on Monday morning, so Monday, April 21st will be baby day! We know that the Lord is in total control of this and we totally TRUST that it will all work out. We are also VERY excited! The reality is really setting in. We will officially be parents soon. We are so ready to start this new chapter in our lives. We really do appreciate your prayers for everything to go as smooth as possible!

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act. Psalm 37:5

New Daddy Tribute

Our sweet baby boy, Jackson, will be here soon. As the days get closer and closer to his arrival, I cannot help but think of how very grateful I am to have Russell as my husband. Here is a little "tribute" to Russell, my sweet man.
Oh my goodness, I love this picture I have posted many times. Here we are on our very first date, a blind date, I might add. Head over heels very quickly.

Fast forward to August 31, 2013. The day we found out about our miracle baby!!!

Here are a couple of pictures of Jackson.....very early on in the pregnancy.

It's A BOY! Finding out that Baby Price is a boy was oh, so fun, especially at Christmastime.

Russell, I cannot say thank you enough for everything you have done for me during this whole pregnancy. You have been there since day one. It has not always been easy, but having you by my side made it so much better and easier. God is so good to me because He gave me you and soon we will have Jackson! I love you more than words can ever describe! You are my best friend and I can't wait to raise our son with you. I adore you.
Love, Meredith

April Shower

Here it is...April 12th and I have not blogged in a while! It's been crazy busy in the Price household as we are trying hard to be ready in every way for Baby Jackson's arrival. It's been so special and fun preparing!
Last Saturday, our Sunday School class girls gave us a baby shower. It was so very wonderful! Everyone did such a great job with it!
When we drove up to Jason and Lisa's house, this is what we saw. Spring flowers and colorful balloons in a very sweet high chair! Soo creative. We loved it.

Books and balloons!
Mandy planned a lot of the shower and she knew to add the Dr. Seuss ABC book because it has Jackson's JJ's name in it. The letter is....none other than 'J'. Jerry Jordan's jelly jar! :)

Gifts ready to be opened. So fun!

The table was decorated so beautifully. And my friend, Ashton, made the adorable fruit carriage! I have always wanted one at a baby shower. They are hard to do but always look great!

Me with the proud grandmas!

Sooo fun!

Mama, me, Amy, and Leighann!
It seems like yesterday when I was planning Amy's baby shower and now Leighann is almost FIVE! Kids grow up way too fast.

So cute!
I wish I got more pictures of guests who came, but just didn't have time to take many pictures. ;)

Laurie painted this perfect painting for Jackson's nursery and it's now hanging above the crib. Just perfect for his room. Sooo great!

Jackie and Mama

Tower of goodies! Soo cute.

Oh, Susan! I am so glad she got to come. She is very special to me.

Love all the Sunday school girls! Some had to leave early, but I love them ALL so very much. What wonderful blessings they are to me.
Rhyanne, Mandy, me, Lisa, and Ashton. Thank you ladies for everything!

We are so blessed.

Mandy and me! Such a dear, sweet friend to me.

I was so happy Russell could help after the shower. He is such a wonderful husband to me. Cannot wait til we meet our sweet boy together. Hopefully I will have time to post more updates soon!
