A Lion and a Jack-o-Lantern

Happy Halloween, y'all! I know we have posted many Instagram, Facebook, and blog pictures of our adventures this fall, but it's our favorite season, and we just want to cherish every second with Jackson, along with making new memories. Of course I will document it! :)
The picture on the left is when I was 10 or 11 weeks pregnant, and the picture on the right is now! I can't say enough how grateful I am and I just love being his Mommy!

Jackson dressed up as a LION for his 1st Halloween. I am partial, but he's the sweetest and cutest lion ever! :)

We went to Russell's work because a few of his co-workers wanted to see Jackson in his costume.

Jackson had to try out Daddy's work chair! Bless his heart, that lion head was floppy on his head! HA!

Jackson LOVES Linda! Linda was so sweet to hold him while we ate lunch at the office.

We came home so Jackson could rest. Oh, I love his sweet smiles.

We wanted Laynette and Rusty to see Jackson in his costume. Laynette always decorates for all holidays-so fun!

Too cute!

Our lil fam! Boo!

Jackson's jack-o-lantern!

We adore our little pumpkin so much.

I think his 1st Halloween was a success! Next holiday is Thanksgiving! Hope y'all had a fabulous holiday!

Logan is FIFTEEN!

October 29th is here again, which means.....
TODAY is Logan's 15th BIRTHDAY!!!
Oh, my gosh, I will never forget how much fun being an aunt has been. Being an aunt truly prepared me on being a mom. I always adored taking care of Logan and Lauren when they were babies. Now, they are both growing up way too fast.

We have always been best buds.
This was January 2000. I believe this was the night we took Logan to see "Bear in the Big Blue House", (and the day I discovered hair straighteners, but we won't go into that. HA!).

Logan always had the most fun birthday parties, thanks to his sweet Mama and Daddy (my sister and brother-in-law).

Logan is such a sweet cousin to Jackson. This was taken April 22, 2014, the day after Jackson was born. :)

Logan, Lauren and Jackson. Oh, how I love them!
Logan, I know I tell you this over and over, but you truly are awesome. Don't ever forget how special you are to not just me, but to MANY! Love you so much! Happy 15th Birthday!

A Day at Farmland

We now have a six month old in the house!
He didn't know what to think of this wooden jack-o-lantern. :)
Saturday, we headed out to Farmland Adventures pumpkin patch. They had lots for families! The only downer was, it was SO. HOT. It did not feel like fall, but we made the best of it.

Too funny. He can't sit up on his own just yet, so he really was trying to figure out what I was doing.

Jackson riding the horse. :)

Russell and his boy!

The huge Clydesdale horse. Jackson did enjoy other animals, like cows, and llamas!

At the farm.

Jackson just sitting in the patch! He was still trying to figure everything out!
Sweet boy and his pumpkin.

There was a hay maze. I have been through corn mazes before, and this maze was what I prefer. :)

Family pic

His favorite part of the whole day was the corn box! He loved feeling the corn kernels and it was just cute and fun to see him in it. Russell and I are really enjoying fall with our sweet son. We truly try to make memories and yes, document it. :) More fall fun updates to come! :)
Have I mentioned Fall is the BEST? :)

I Cross My Heart: Todd and Dana's Wedding

Saturday, October 18th was a very special day. Todd and Dana said, "I Do." Russell and Todd are best friends and have known each other for so long. He was so honored to be in Todd's wedding.
Jackson was so excited to attend his very 1st wedding! He was so happy during the ceremony that he was squealing! :)

The wedding party rode on a tractor and trailer.

Russell took this picture of Todd before the wedding. He was so excited!

This was such a neat idea. The rings were attached to this piece of wood. So cool.

Father of the Groom. We love Bo!

A rose in memory of Todd's mom, JoAnn. She was definitely looking down on him during this special day.

Dana right after the wedding! So pretty!

Love this picture of such a happy couple.

Beautiful rings on the bouquet.

Kylie is so sweet!

Family pic! It was such a perfect day for an outdoor wedding!

Wrangler shirt and of course the boutonniere. Yes, that's fresh flowers in a shotgun shell. :) That's so Todd! It was right up his alley.

It was SO great to see Tara and her sweet girl, Dixie!
Russell and Tara have known each other since grade school and we went to college together. Love this of us with our babies.

Sisters! Jackie, Phyllis, and Connie. Jackie was such a huge help for the bride and groom. She did a lot of behind the scenes things. :)

Mama helped so much with Jackson.
Jackson's serious face cracks me up. I think I have figured out that when he is around a lot of people, he just observes...a lot! :)

Just a random picture of the bouquet on a tractor.

Some of the wedding party.

Cake! I love the sign above the table. Dana did a great job!

So exciting!

Jackie and Ricky with sweet J.

Tara and Dixie. Little Dixie loved the votive candles!

Friends!

Love this picture!

I took Jackson home a little early, and Russell stayed a bit longer.

Look at that bonfire! We are so happy for Dana and Todd. I have known Todd for as long as I have known Russell-almost ten years! We are so glad Todd found Dana!
