Boo to You!

Happy Halloween, y'all! I don't know about you, but I have really enjoyed the Fall season so far. I meant to post this picture a couple of weeks ago. I just love these girls! We all went to the craft fair in Bella Vista and had such a fun time!
We are all so close and all love hanging out together whenever we can!
Fast forwarding to this week.....
The other day, I got to join this little bumble bee while she went trick or treating! We had such fun and Leighann looked so precious!
I love the Today show. This morning I got such a kick out of their costumes! The Today Show did their own version of the royal wedding! So funny!
Russell and I usually always carve pumpkins for Halloween. This year it was a little more low key. This is the one Russell carved.
I did the sparkly one! Pretty simple, but I guess it turned out okay.

Tonight we had beef vegetable soup for dinner and for dessert we had these pumpkin muffins. Perfect for Halloween or any Fall evening! We are now watching Casper on TV. Remember it from the 90's? I still enjoy it during this time of year! Hope y'all have a wonderful Pumpkin Day!

Happy Birthday, Logan!

If you read my blog, y'all know how much I just adore my nephew and niece. Well today, is Logan's 12th birthday! I cannot believe he is 12 now! WOWSERS! Being an aunt is the best blessing. Look at this picture of us when he was a baby! Wasn't he a cutie?
Now he is a handsome "preteen" and still as sweet as he was when he was a baby! HA!
Logan, I love you more than I can say. You truly are the best nephew ever and the coolest guy around! I hope you have a wonderful birthday. I love you!
Love, Meredith

Courageous

I have been meaning to post about this for a couple of weeks. Russell and I went to see a great movie, Courageous, that I highly recommend. Whenever I recommend movies, it usually means that that particular movie makes me either tear up, get chills, laugh, smile a lot or all of the above. This movie definitely hit all of those categories. What a message it has for everyone! This movie had it all: comedy, action, drama all in one!
Our Sunday School class is participating in the Courageous Bible study. Our first session was yesterday morning. It was really good!

Take time to watch this music video by Casting Crowns.
It is great! Joshua 1:9 was one of the main verses from the movie. I thought it was interesting because it's our family verse and of course it's the verse that I have had on my blog for a few years now. Love that verse SO much! I promise you it will be worth it to go see the movie! Hope y'all have a wonderful day!
Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

Tigers, Mugs and Muffins, and Friends

This weekend was so busy, yet again! We did have a great weekend though. Being busy is usually a good thing, right? Russell and I have always wanted to go to a Bentonville Tigers football game. Friday night was homecoming and we decided to go.

We ended up standing on the very back of the stands in the student section because it was pretty much the only section open if we wanted to watch the game! It has recently become a tradition to throw baby powder up in the air at every kick off of every game. Because we were at the very top of the bleachers, we were surrounded by baby powder! HA!
We didn't end up staying for the whole game, but the Tigers did win! We had fun.
Twice a year, our church Women's ministry hosts an event called Mugs and Muffins. I always love getting to know people and this event really gives you a chance to dwell in relationships and make new friends! The special speaker was Susan Goss. She shared her heart about The Joshua Center, a counseling center that opened only a few months ago in NWA. It was so touching and she did a great job!
Susan is so warm and friendly to everyone. So sweet.
Here is Susan and her sweet mom, Mary. Sweet sweet ladies!
Saturday was also my sweet friend, Mandy's birthday! Her mom, Sheena, planned a party at their house for our Sunday School class to get together. Eden was such a good baby! Such a doll!
 Waiting for Mandy and Chad!
Adrienne, Kelsey, and Rhyanne. Such awesome friends of mine!
Adrienne, Kelsey and me still waiting!
All the girls! We enjoyed such a good meal! And we caught up on girl talk too of course!
Eden is certainly a "girly girl!" She had fun at the party!
 Three generations!
 Chad and Mandy!
I had to get a picture with the birthday girl! Everyone just loves Mandy!
Brian and Kelsey! They joined our church this morning and we are so excited and looking forward to hanging out with them even more!
We certainly had a full weekend but it was So worth it and so fun! Hope y'all have a wonderful week!

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy. 1 Peter 1:8

Crepes, Babies, and Pumpkins

Since we moved back to NWA, it seems like I have not had a spare minute to blog! But Russell and I have loved being back so far, for sure! Thursday I met some sweet friends at Bentonville square. We tried this new place called Crepes Paulette. They had tons of crepes to choose from!

We all just had the best time sitting outside enjoying our yummy (and messy) crepes!
Baby Kayden was relaxing in his stroller. Cute!
Here's my Nutella crepe. I loved it. We all really enjoyed that place!
Sweet Eden. She is growing up fast!
My friend, Heather and her sweet boy, Jacob. Aww!
We also walked all around the square. There was a popsicle stand there. I tried a sample of strawberry basil and it was surprisingly good! :)
 Cooper and Eden!
They loved this truck! Especially Cooper! He didn't want to leave!

Saturday Russell and I celebrated Fall by having pumpkin cheesecake at Olive Garden for dessert. Oh it was sooo good!
We also picked out a few pumpkins. These are fairy tale pummpkins. Love these!

 How interesting!
 Our pumpkins we picked out.

Y'all know I just absolutely ADORE Fall. It's just my favorite time of year for sure! Everything about it is just grand to me!
