I am a happily married southern woman. Russell and I have been married for 7 years now. We have an adorable baby boy, Jackson Randolph, born on April 21, 2014. He is our little miracle and we love him so much!! We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Belle. We are loving life in Northwest Arkansas and love spending time with our family and friends. I keep this blog updated for 3 reasons: first of all, to spread the love of Jesus Christ to others, second, to help other people become more aware of brain cancer. It is very close to my heart. And third, just to keep things positive on my blog and try to make others smile! Click on my Daddy's picture below to learn more about brain cancer. When you click, it will take you directly to the National Brain Tumor Society.
Thank ya'll for reading, and have a blessed day!
Today is my sweet husband's birthday today! I hope he has a wonderful day. He is the sweetest man ever and the best husband to me. He will do anything for anyone and is a hard worker. So-from the first birthday I spent with you
til the many birthdays yet to come,
Happy 27th Birthday to my Russell! I Love You!
Love, Meredith
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Lately, there have been many songs that have spoken to my heart and are very powerful and meaningful. I thought I would share 3 of them with you today. The first one (above) is by Chris Tomlin. It's called "I Will Follow." It is awesome.
This one is wonderful too. It has spoken to me so much lately but I have always loved it! It's the theme song for the movie, "Facing the Giants." So good!
Lastly, this one is about how wonderful God's grace is. There is nothing greater than God's grace.
May you be blessed by these 3 songs. Please take a few minutes to enjoy these songs! Enjoy your weekend!
And you yourself must be an example to them by doing good works of every kind. Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. Titus 2:7
Tomorrow night, "Miss America" airs on TV. I thought I would share with y'all my favorite Miss America ever. Heather Whitestone, Miss America 1995 is my very favorite! She was the first deaf Miss America and so very talented. She is an inspiration to so many people. My sister, Kelly, and brother-in-law, Eric, gave me this book one year for my birthday. I was 10 years old then and I still love Heather Whitestone McCallum 15 years later! Below is a video of the announcement of Miss America 1995. I hope you enjoy learning a little bit about sweet Heather!
He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
It is cold out there! There's ice on the ground and Jack Frost has definitely made a visit. There is nothing like small things that can make these Wintertime blues better! I love these socks from Bath and Body Works. I have been wearing these a lot lately. They are so cozy and warm! Speaking of cozy and warm, I love Victorias Secret flannel pajamas. I wear them every night during these cold Winter nights!
And I have to have my satin lips set to keep my lips hydrated. It's a must!
Put all that together with a chick flick and you're good to go! So cozy up by the fire, sip a cup of hot chocolate, watch a good movie with your sweetie and INDULGE!
It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter. Psalm 74:17
I am a little late posting about the Sugar Bowl. As y'all know, we are big Razorback fans! We love our Hogs and were sooo pumped about the Sugar Bowl Game! See how excited we were here?
I hardly ever wear RED lipstick, but I had to for this big game! Ha! Alas, we lost. So disappointing. It was a pretty hard game to watch.
Anyway, South AR. was expecting snow and ice. Our town got mostly ice. Yuck! But here are pictures of our house. It was definitely a day to stay in snuggled up in your pj's!
Belle doing a trick for us. She is growing up. She is two years old and we love her so much! Hope all of you enjoy this wintry season! Stay warm and safe!
He says to the snow, 'Fall on the earth,' and to the rain shower, 'Be a mighty downpour.' Job 37:6
So tomorrow is a BIG day for the state of Arkansas. I am so proud of our Hogs for playing in the Sugar Bowl tomorrow. I have such high hopes we will win! I wish that Russell and I could go but instead we will be calling those Hogs tomorrow night!!!! Let's win this game, Hogs! WOOO PIG SOOIEE!!!!
I can do all things through Christ who strenthens me. Philippians 4:13
It's 1-1-11, y'all! Happy New Year! Let's celebrate! You know, one of my resolutions is so simple- it is celebrating the simple things in life. That's my resolution and I'm sticking to it. Life's too short. Well on to celebrating..... Today was the Tournament of Roses Parade. Paula Deen was the Grand Marshal. She looked so cute riding in that car with her husband, Michael. Here's how we celebrated. A New Year's Party, of course! We had Lauren with us and entertained her with a very small "party."
Here we are on New Year's Eve! Bye Bye 2010!
Me and my New Year's Sweetie!
Belle was celebrating too! Happy New Year!
We love Welch's sparkling grape juice. Yum.
She was so excited about 2011! I wish y'all lots of love, joy, peace and happiness this 2011. May God Bless Each of You!
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8
