Lawson Thanksgiving

Saturday night we had another Thanksgiving dinner! It was so good, but even better to see family! Jackie had the table set up pretty!
Mamaw and Phyllis before dinner!

BJ, Katie and me singing Christmas carols. BJ works with Josh Gracin in Nashville, y'all! BJ and Katie love it in Tennessee! We had such fun singing and harmonizing together! Russell sang too and then the whole family sang Amazing Grace together. It was so sweet and special. We will remember that forever!

And of course I had to get a picture of the best friends-Todd and Russell! They watched most of the Razorback game in the living room and then all of us were in the living room cheering the Hogs on! Thank goodness we won! WOOO PIGS! HA! Now that it's Monday it's back to the drawing board for most of us, right? Have a great week y'all!

I will sing to the Lord because He is good to me. Psalm 13:6

A Jordan Thanksgiving

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? Hope it was safe and fun! This year we went to my Aunt Becky and Uncle Jack's for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful Jordan family Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun catching up with everyone who we haven't seen in a while.
Russell and I enjoyed a good meal!

Aww! Here's my cousin, Jennifer and her husband, Matt. I knew they would get married right when they started dating! :) Sweet couple.

Me and my sweet cousins Jennifer, and Ann Marie. Ann Marie's 1 year wedding anniversary is coming up soon! :)

Oh the joy of family! Aren't they silly?
Lauren, Katie Lee, and Zoie

Here are the kiddos playing Uno Attack!

Me and my sweet Aunt Nancy!

Here's my cousin Mary Catherine wearing the official Bear Bryant hat! My Papaw Jordan was friends with Bear Bryant way back when! This was his hat! :)

And here is our sweet family! I know I have said this more times than anyone can count but family is just wonderful to me. I am happiest when I am around family. And if you are my husband, Mama, sister, brother-in-law, nephew, niece, aunt, uncle, cousin, (y'all get the picture) and are reading this, this post is dedicated to you. You are my family and I love you more than you will ever know. Saying that to you is not enough. This post is dedicated to you. I LOVE Y'ALL!
And of course, Logan and Lauren and I rounded off the weekend with a little golf cart ride!

Thanksgiving Dilemmas

Just look at this pie. Perfection. This was my goal tonight but I didn't get that far. Tomorrow night is the Price Thanksgiving at our house and I thought I would bake Southern Living's BEAUTIMOUS Sweet Potato Pie with Marshmallow Topping. I didn't have any pie weights and it ended up falling in! EEK! I had to start over and am now waiting on the 2nd crust and filling to turn out. Maybe it will! This small "dilemma" made me think of "Stephanie" on Full House when she ruined "Mom's Picture Perfect Pumpkin Pie" for Thanksgiving. Bless her little heart!
You know, I think that the reason why some of these little errors happen is maybe we fret too much. Maybe we think and worry about how everything has to be picture perfect. Things happen, y'all. I am telling myself this too! Lets focus more on what we have in our lives, rather than if a turkey will turn out. I mean, it won't be any fun if a dish may be messed up or ruined, but enjoy family, friends, and God's love this Thanksgiving! P. S. Maybe my pie will turn out after all! HA!

Prince William and Kate Engaged!

Yes, y'all have heard about it, but I had to post my excitement! Prince William and Kate Middleton are officially engaged! I think they are a darling couple and have such a sweet love story! William proposed with Princess Diana's ring which I think was very sweet. Y'all know how much I love Princess Diana and so I of course, am interested in most of the "royals" in England as well.

The wedding will be in the Summer of 2011 and I will SO be watching that, even if it's at 4 a.m. our time! HA!

I Love Thanksgiving!

I Love Thanksgiving-don't ya'll? Love so much about it! I just love pumpkins and turkeys.
Love these little candy turkeys too! I used to make them when I was little! Kids love making these by the way!

I Love the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every Thanksgiving morning. Even though I love all the "little things" about the holiday, there are a lot more things that I love more than anything.
I loooove and am so thankful for my relationship with Christ, family, friends, and more.

Give thanks in all circumstances for this is the will of God. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Camden's Christmas Open House

This afternoon was Christmas Open House at certain stores in Camden. I went to a couple of my favorite places there. First I went to Yummy Cupcakes and then I went to Perfect Touch. Look at the pretty door decoration for Christmas at Yummy Cupcakes! Yummy Cupcakes has the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. They are all fabulous!
Michelle, at Yummy Cupcakes, decorated this beautiful upside down tree!

And here is sweet Mrs. Audrey helping customers! She is one of my favorite people!

Look at these great Egg Nog and Gingerbread cupcakes! What cute lil cuppie cakes! Ha!

Next, I went to Perfect Touch to see what goodies they have. I loved their shirts! Guess who I saw there? My favorite employee there- Kendall! She is also one of my favorite people!
So great to see you, Ken!

Later this afternoon, Jackie and Ricky came and we went out for dinner then played Catch Phrase-fun game! I hope ya'll have a great week! Thanksgiving will be here soon!

Shoebox for a Little Girl

Today Russell and I went to walmart and got all kinds of things to fill a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. We do this every year. I always get so very emotional while we put them together. We sure had a good time picking out all of the little girls goodies!
Here's Russell with a book we picked out for her.

I am holding my favorite things we got her: Pinkalicious toys! Aren't they cute?
Even Belle wanted to help us!

Here it is all filled up for a precious girl. We do not know where this shoebox will go. We do not know how old she really is or know her name. But we will be praying for her every day because we know this one shoebox may make a difference in her life.
After the shoebox was filled, we had Baked Potato Chowder for dinner! Perfect for a Fall night!

Holiday House and Wicked!

I hope y'all had a great weekend! We had a fantastic one! Saturday Mama and I went to Little Rock Junior League's annual "Holiday House". Look at these gorgeous decorations! And that was just the beginning of it all!
Beautiful Christmas Tree!

Mama and I shopped til we dropped-literally! Good thing is, I got a little Christmas shopping done! There were TONS of booths there. I saw a few of my friends who I hadn't seen in a while too!

More Christmas Decor!

Yesterday, Logan and Lauren took pictures with me. I took this one of them-what sweeties they are!
We went to the broadway show, Wicked yesterday as well.
Here we are before we left for the show
Here's Logan and his new guitar!
Look at this green water! Looks like it is just for Wicked!
The show was awesome. Just such great music! I have had the songs in my head all day today!
