YAY! Tomorrow's Friday! I hope y'all have had a good week so far. It's been a good week for us. Our church choir has been on a small break this Summer, but last night, we started choir practice again! It was so good to get back in the groove of things. Russell and I are excited to see what is in store for the choir this Fall.
The choir is having a retreat soon and I am helping a little with planning it.
It will be a country church theme, so I call it "Church in the Wildwood"!
This reminds me of The Little House on the Prairie. So adorable!
Okay, I know I have been talking about the olympics a lot lately. I just HAD to share this with y'all. Earlier this week, one of the girls, McKayla, from the USA gymnastics team got a silver medal for her vault routine. She made a mistake during one of the routines, and she said that she was really disappointed in herself. Of course, people took many pictures of all the medalists and McKayla didn't look too thrilled. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the "Fierce Five" team and am SO proud of all them! But I just think this is nothing but funny!
Hmm..McKayla is not impressed. HA!
She was not impressed with Will and Kate, either. Oh Well! HAHA! You can find more hilarious pictures here.
Did y'all hear about Lauren Scruggs, a fashion blogger, back in December? She was involved in a terrible accident involving a plane, but she miraculously survived! She ended up losing her left eye and left hand. Lauren was on the Today show this morning and she shared so much of her heart. She said that she has more faith in the Lord than she ever has and lives by faith, not by sight. SO AMAZING! Her book comes out soon, too! Her blog is here.
I am looking forward to Saturday. I always love when Bath and Body Works has great deals going! They have so many goodies. Check them out!
So that's the random blog of the day. Ha!
Talk soon!
Of all the commandments, which is the most important The most important one, answered Jesus, is this: Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:28-31
