Happy Birthday, Kelly Lauren!

Today is a big day! It's my beautiful sister, Kelly's birthday!
I know this picture has been used almost every year, but I cannot help it-I love it. As a little girl, I of course loved celebrating my own birthday, but it was so much fun to watch my big sister celebrate her day. I still do!
Everyone knows how much I love Kelly and I would do anything for her!
She is also a wonderful aunt to Jackson, who loves her very much!
Kelly, I hope you have a very special day. You are amazing and beautiful. Never forget it! Thank you for being you!
Love, Mer

Happy 20th Wedding Anniversary, Kelly and Eric!

My sister is my best friend. I love her so much. We are sisters, though 13 years apart in age, that doesn't stop us from being close! I have been so blessed to know Eric, my brother-in-law, for about 25 years or more. The day they got married was one of the best memories! I was nine years old and so excited to be a junior bridesmaid.
On December 31, 1994, Kelly and Eric said, "I Do." From the hunter green taffeta bridesmaids dresses, the gorgeous white poinsettias, the old world babysbreath accents, everything was perfect!
So wonderful!

Still laughing, even twenty years later!

The journey continues!
They now have two teenagers, Logan and Lauren, who are the best ever!
We all love you, Kelly and Eric! Celebrate big!
Happy 20 years!
Love,
Meredith

Here is the bible verse that was read at your wedding and on your wedding program. Such a wonderful verse!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

November Fun

Our Jackson boy is still loving fall. I think he gets it from his daddy and mommy. :) We love fall in this house! :) We have been pretty busy with different things lately, but it's been so fun.
Love this boy in his pj's!

Friday afternoon, we went on a walk in our neighborhood. He looked so snuggly in the stroller! I showed him the cows and he loved it.

Cows in the pasture

I kept telling Jackson that "cows say MOO!" :)

Friday night, we went to Toyland. It was Jackson's first time to go. There were many parents and kids there and it was crazy, but fun.

We showed Jackson the window display at the square and he enjoyed the snowman.

Sweet J!

Look, everybody! A FALL display! :)

Today, we saw my sister, Kelly, and her family in Oklahoma. It was Jackson's first time in OK!

We had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. It was so good.

Lauren is such a good cousin to Jackson. They love playing together!

We also got to visit with Eric and Logan later this afternoon. Enjoyed seeing the fancy hotel room they were in! Spending time with my sister and her sweet family is so fun.

Our little fam. Jackson was sooo tired at this point.

Beautiful sunset.
We have had a great weekend so far. Hope y'all have a blessed and special day!

A Trip Down South

Last weekend we headed  to South Arkansas for a wedding and to see family. I took so many pictures that I decided to write two separate posts.
Friday, we hit the road early in the morning because we knew we would have to stop a few times for Jackson.
We stopped to feed Jackson at Two Rivers Bridge and it is beautiful there.

The bridge!

My little traveler. :) He did pretty good considering we were in the car for a while.

I was thrilled to see my wonderful sister, Kelly, in her classroom! It was Jackson's 1st time to visit "Aunt Kelly's" class. :)

She gave Jackson a fire fighter hat. I think he looks adorable! Thank you, Aunt Kelly!

Kelly is the best aunt to Jackson. Love seeing her play with him!

Kelly's class just loved playing with him. They were so sweet.

Russell and I were SO excited to be able to take Logan and Lauren to lunch. Their choice was PIZZA! What else? :) *Yes, I know the lighting in the pic is bad, but it was cute of the cousins!

We loved Kelly and Eric's fall decorations and mums!

Friday night, we went to Todd and Dana's wedding rehearsal and dinner. They served fried fish, fries, and hush puppies. Oh, and of course, it's not a Southern affair without sweet tea! I'll post about the wedding very soon! :)

Saturday morning, Mamaw and Papaw Price surprised us and stopped by to see Jackson. He has grown so much since they saw him back in June. We enjoyed visiting with them.

Mama and I got to visit my Mamaw (Daddy's mother) and she met Jackson for the first time. I told her, "This is your great grandson, Jackson." She was so tickled to meet him. I really thought about Daddy a lot when we were visiting Mamaw. Miss him so much. It was really good to see my grandmother, though!

Jackson and I gave Mama (KK) her late birthday present! Sweet of KK and her second grandson.

Post wedding:

Connie, George and Phyllis came to Jackie and Ricky's house to visit and they were tickled to see Jackson in his pumpkin sleeper. :)

Mamaw Lawson, Russell and Baby J.
It was great to see them!

*Disclaimer: I totally forgot my dress pants for church! Woops!
We went to church with Jackie and Ricky on Sunday morning and we got to see our best friends, Haley and Keith! We have been friends for years and they truly are special to us.

It took a long time for us to get home on Sunday but we were glad to be home. There's no place like home even after a special time with family and friends.

A Weekend with the Fam

I have missed blogging, but plan to be back at it for a while. Last weekend, we went to my aunt Dodie's house to swim, enjoy grilled burgers, and spend time with family. We couldn't wait for Jackson to dip his toes in the water and see how he liked the pool for the very first time.
He had his Jake and he Neverland Pirates beach towel, trendy sunglasses, sun hat, and best of all, his cool swim trunks and rash guard shirt that said, "Mighty Cute."

We thought he looked adorable.

Mama, Kelly, me and Jackson.

He loves being outside.

We also rode 4 wheelers behind Dodie and Mike's house. It was pretty fun! I thought I may just ride a 4 wheeler, but I actually drove one.

Logan me and Lauren. Oh, I just adore these two! :)

Logan and Kelly!

My cousin, Emily loved snuggling with Jackson. He was definitely part of the entertainment. Who needs TV?
Saturday night, we stayed at my sister's house and spent time with Kelly, Eric, Logan and Lauren. It was Jackson's first time at Aunt Kelly and Uncle Eric's! :)

Lauren was playing with Jackson right before he went to sleep in his rock and play sleeper. I love this sweet pic!

Jackson loves his older cousins so much.

Eric is a wonderful photographer, so we wanted him to take Jackson's pictures on Sunday. Here's Russell and Jackson after we got him all dressed up.

Eric did an awesome job taking the pictures. Jackson was so good and did not even cry during the photo session. :)
My cousins, Mary Catherine and Ann Marie came to see us on Sunday and I was wonderful seeing them!

Ann Marie, me and Jackson.
I am so glad they came over. It was so good to see them. We love our family bunches!!!
Kelly made a wonderful lunch: chicken florenine lasagna, salad, and bread. I wish I had taken a picture of it. We had such fun in Central AR!
