Off to Grandma's!!

Russell had a quick business trip last Tuesday in Little Rock, so Jackson and I packed up, rode to LR with Russell, and met Mama and B.A. for lunch at Cracker Barrel.
KK was thrilled to hold her sweet grandson again! I think this picture is the sweetest.
He just had to wear his "Off to Grandma's" outfit again. :)

B.A. and Mama with Jackson before lunch.

Russell had lunch with us and headed off to work. Jackson and I headed to South AR!
I went to a children's clothing store in Camden to shop for clothes for Jackson. I found such cute things. Mama made a great dinner, then we watched a wonderful movie, God's Not Dead. I recommend it to everyone. So good.
Wednesday, Mama, Jackson, and I went downtown for more shopping then picked up lunch at Perfect Cup.
We were so excited to see Lynn before we went back to Mama's. I was a counselor's aide in high school and Lynn was the secretary in the counseling office. She is such a hoot and made me laugh every day! So glad she met Jackson.

Jackson also got to meet Uncle Bill!! I was thrilled that he met one of Daddy's brothers. So special.

Betsy had so much fun with sweet Jackson, too. So fun.

Wednesday afternoon, our friends, Camille and Jennifer came over!
Here's Jennifer feeding Jackson.

Camille holding "Prince Jackson." :)

Jackie and Ricky came by too to see their grandson and were so tickled.

We practiced taking his 4 month pictures. I get such a kick out of it. He is a fast moving boy!

Thursday, I got a pedicure for the first time in years. Literally. I was crazy for not taking advantage while I was pregnant, but I just never did. My friend, Sheila did it and we always enjoy catching up every time I see her!

We had another "mini photo shoot" and this is one of the pics I got of sweet J.

We got to have lunch with Kim and Emily and we were so excited about that for sure! They just got back from Hawaii the day before, so we were excited to hear all about it.

Mama and Kim

Emily, me and Jackson.
He took a good nap in his seat while we were at lunch. I was surprised because he usually looks left and right because he doesn't wanna miss a thing. :)
Any time I get to see sweet Kim and Emily, it just makes my heart so happy.

Soon, it was time to head back home. We took one more quick picture before heading to LR too meet Russell. We met Russell at Kelly's house. So good to see my sister and her fam!

Kelly took this of Russell Jackson. He was so happy to see his awesome Daddy!

We stopped at Stoby's to pick up dinner on the way home. It was so yummy.
It was good to be home again on Thursday night. Back to the drawing board!

Jackson loves his new minky fitted crib sheet. It's so soft. He loves watching the mobile, too. It's too sweet. Our precious boy always makes us so happy and reminds us to cherish every moment.

For the Lord takes delight in his people; he crowns the humble with victory. Psalm 149:4

A Weekend with the Fam

I have missed blogging, but plan to be back at it for a while. Last weekend, we went to my aunt Dodie's house to swim, enjoy grilled burgers, and spend time with family. We couldn't wait for Jackson to dip his toes in the water and see how he liked the pool for the very first time.
He had his Jake and he Neverland Pirates beach towel, trendy sunglasses, sun hat, and best of all, his cool swim trunks and rash guard shirt that said, "Mighty Cute."

We thought he looked adorable.

Mama, Kelly, me and Jackson.

He loves being outside.

We also rode 4 wheelers behind Dodie and Mike's house. It was pretty fun! I thought I may just ride a 4 wheeler, but I actually drove one.

Logan me and Lauren. Oh, I just adore these two! :)

Logan and Kelly!

My cousin, Emily loved snuggling with Jackson. He was definitely part of the entertainment. Who needs TV?
Saturday night, we stayed at my sister's house and spent time with Kelly, Eric, Logan and Lauren. It was Jackson's first time at Aunt Kelly and Uncle Eric's! :)

Lauren was playing with Jackson right before he went to sleep in his rock and play sleeper. I love this sweet pic!

Jackson loves his older cousins so much.

Eric is a wonderful photographer, so we wanted him to take Jackson's pictures on Sunday. Here's Russell and Jackson after we got him all dressed up.

Eric did an awesome job taking the pictures. Jackson was so good and did not even cry during the photo session. :)
My cousins, Mary Catherine and Ann Marie came to see us on Sunday and I was wonderful seeing them!

Mary Catherine, me, and Jackson

Ann Marie, me and Jackson.
I am so glad they came over. It was so good to see them. We love our family bunches!!!
Kelly made a wonderful lunch: chicken florenine lasagna, salad, and bread. I wish I had taken a picture of it. We had such fun in Central AR!

Happy Days with our Boy

Oh, boy! Jackson has been changing and growing by the day. I have barely been able to keep up with all the changes. I am pretty observant of all those little moments.
Last Thursday, July 31st, Jackson wore his SCAD shirt and soccer socks! He was so happy and he was celebrating that Logan (my nephew) can play soccer again after a knee injury last year. Jackson says, "Yippee!" :)

I loved this bib we got on sale at Gymboree, too. Cute lil panda bear.

The Price household is so ready for Razorback football to begin. Jackson wore his "Lil Hogs Fan" bib last Friday because the countdown to the first game of the season is on! We are already teaching him how to call the Hogs. Woo Pig Sooie!

Lawrence Plaza in NWA had a "First Friday Flicks" night last week. The movie, "A League of Their Own" was showing outside so we went. We knew we wouldn't be there long, considering Jackson was with us. He really loves being outside and was pretty happy.

Oh, he's such a sweetie pie.
We left pretty early, but enjoyed it.

Saturday night, we met Tony, Amy, and Leighann at my favorite-Venesian Inn. It was awesome to spend time with them and hear all about Leighann's first day of Kindergarten! :)

Leighann and Jackson-sweet cousins!

Look at his adorable onesie that Mary Avery and her sweet family gave Jackson. He is definitely 100% AWESOME!!
Tuesday was the day he finally laughed for us and we love it so much.

He also adores books.

Thursday, Kelsey and Abbey Claire came to visit.
Abbey and Jackson were so sweet and cute together.

They had such fun. :)
We love spending time with our friends.

As a mom, I am learning to truly savor every moment and treasure it.

Happy Birthday, EBE!

Today is my brother-in-law, Eric's birthday!
I wish I could remember when or where this was taken. I think I was 13 or so. Kelly and Eric started dating when I was probably 5 years old (maybe younger) and they have been together ever since!

4th of July! Logan was so little!

Christmas 2013 at Kelly and Eric's house!

Eric holding Jackson for the first time. Too sweet.

Lauren, Kelly, Logan and Eric in Savannah, one of their favorite places ever!

Eric, I hope you have had a wonderful day so far! We love you lots!

This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Jackson's Adventures in South Arkansas

This summer has been so great with our sweet boy. Russell, Jackson and I headed to South Arkansas a couple of weeks ago and we were all so very excited about it.
Jackson even had a special outfit for the long drive. It was his first long trip, so we tried to be prepared for anything-including dirty diapers on the road. HA! He was looking so cool in his "Off to Grandma's" outfit and matching sunglasses. YAY!

KK was SO tickled and over the moon to see Jackson and give him many kisses and hugs.

Jackson's first "trip" to see the "awesome car." It's really an inside joke that my Daddy told us about a long time ago. I plan to tell him all about it someday.

Before we headed to Magnolia, we stopped to see Phyllis, Russell's aunt, at her work. She was so happy to hold and meet Baby Jackson!

Mamaw and Papaw meet our lil prince.

Ricky, Mamaw Price, Papaw Price, Jackson, and Russell. So special!

Mamaw Lawson also met him and was so glad!

So very sweet!

At Wilson Gardens

This little "collage" is special to me. The top picture was taken in October 2005. Our sweet college friend, Karis, took the picture. Russell and I had been dating six months and the garden was fairly new when we started dating, so it became our favorite place. Russell proposed to me in that same spot in December 2006. Years later, on June 28, 2014, we took a picture with our sweet Jackson Randolph. What blessings abound!

On Sunday, we went to my home church in Camden. Jackson was loved by the sweetest ladies in the nursery, Irene and Alicia.

Here is Irene and Jackson. This is how he looked when we got to the nursery. He was OUT!

Janet was over the moon excited to meet Jackson. She was definitely one of our prayer warriors during the journey to have Jackson and she was just beaming! Janet was also my Sunday school teacher in high school!

Attempt #1 at getting a good "Sunday picture" of lil J. HA!

OH! Here's a cute one! :)

Our family in front of the house I grew up in.

KK and Jackson. I love this!!!

One of my best friends, Haley, met him also! Sweet, sweet!

Friends for 8 years!

Monday, Kelly and Lauren came! We loved taking walks with Jackson, as stroller rides are one of his favorite things. :)

B.A. recently got a side by side Polaris and so he took Lauren and I around the neighborhood in it. It was too fun!

Tuesday, we had a ladies (and Jackson) lunch date!
Mama, me, Emily, and Pat

Kim, Jackson, Kelly, and Lauren.
We had lunch at Catherine's Bistro. I had a cheese quesadilla with queso and salsa. So yummy!

My sweet Aunt Nancy, Katie Lee, and Zoe came to meet Jackson! The girls just loved holding him and taking pictures of him too. Too fun!

I have shared many times my sister's talent. She has many talents-singing, teaching, cooking, etc. But she is downright famous for her sugar cookies. I don't recall her making 4th of July ones before, but this year, she did!
Kelly, Kerrstyn, B.A's granddaughter, and Lauren start to ice the cookies.

Here are just a few cookies we decorated together. It truly is a labor of love to make these things, but so worth it.

After Jackson's bath on my bed. He loved to just lay on the bed and coo to us. It was so fun and precious!

Wednesday, it was time to go home. BA, Mama, and the most precious boy around.

He was kinda sad to leave KK! AWW! :) We had a great visit and Jackson loved his adventures in South Arkansas. He loves all of you! It was so great to see everyone!

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10
