JOYFUL CHRISTMAS..Jackson's 1st..Part 2

Here's the continuation of our trip to South AR, plus a celebration at my house!
The day after Christmas, we headed to Russell's parent's house to celebrate the holiday!
We opened gifts. They were tickled to get the personalized plate and framed picture of Jackson.

The three of us! Oh, we love our son, Jackson Randolph!

The best Christmas present!

Ricky enjoyed showing Jackson how to take a "selfie." HA!

Jackson loves them!
Jackie cooked a great lunch: chicken spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad.
That night, we had the Lawson Christmas!

BJ and his little girl, Eve. What a sweet little girl!

Mamaw Lawson, Jackson, and Eve.
On the 27th, we went to Russell's grandparent's house.

Love this picture of 4 Price boys!

Papaw playing peek-a-boo with J. So cute.

Jackson enjoyed the ribbon and wrapping paper.

We stayed at KK (my mom) and BA's house and KK was so excited to read this Rudolph book to Jackson. Rudolph's nose lit up while reading the book. Too fun!

KK is so proud of her baby grandboy!
We truly enjoyed our few days in South Arkansas. It was wonderful to see many family members and a few friends. If you have read this blog even for a short time, you know family is everything to me. I cannot say enough how much fun we had!
Fast forward to January 3rd.......
Whew! That was fast! ;)

I call these cookies "New Year's cookies," because I still used a few cookie cutters from the Christmas collection, but it's still Winter, so I used snowflake, snowman, and bell cutters.
My mom's family came to our house this year to celebrate Christmas! Most of the family got to come, so we were tickled about that. We had ham, macaroni special, green beans with almonds, bread, and death by chocolate for dessert. It was our family's Christmas get together, so of course we had more munchies, like crackers and dips, and olive cheese bread. Thanks to the Pioneer Woman for many recipes, yet again! :)

Opening gifts!

My cousin, Parke and his sweet wife, Anna. This is their 1st Christmas as "Mr. and Mrs." :)

My uncle Mike, Aunt Dodie and Jackson!

My Aunt Molly!

Emily and her very tall boyfriend, Cable. They are so adorable together!

Just the 3 of us again! :)

Kathy (Mama) and Molly!

Kelly, Logan, and Lauren!

Lauren and I are two peas in a pod. She is so very special to me! We know how to have fun and be adventurous! It is so fun to watch her play with Jackson.
It was awesome spending time with MANY family members. My heart just bursts with JOY when I see any family member, but my heart almost overflows with JOY when I can celebrate Jesus' birth many times, not only at Christmastime, with my husband, Russell, and our son, Jackson.
Christmas may be over, but let's not ever forget that Jesus, the Messiah, LOVES and ADORES you!

So now, on January 7th, let's try to fly past any Winter blues that may come and think positive. I have really been thinking about how to kinda "revamp" this blog. Obviously still have J's pics, but add more. If you have any ideas, feel free to share. I have ideas, but y'all just share away! Again, have a wonderful 2015!

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they my see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

A Day at Farmland

We now have a six month old in the house!
He didn't know what to think of this wooden jack-o-lantern. :)
Saturday, we headed out to Farmland Adventures pumpkin patch. They had lots for families! The only downer was, it was SO. HOT. It did not feel like fall, but we made the best of it.

Too funny. He can't sit up on his own just yet, so he really was trying to figure out what I was doing.

Jackson riding the horse. :)

Russell and his boy!

The huge Clydesdale horse. Jackson did enjoy other animals, like cows, and llamas!

At the farm.

Jackson just sitting in the patch! He was still trying to figure everything out!
Sweet boy and his pumpkin.

There was a hay maze. I have been through corn mazes before, and this maze was what I prefer. :)

Family pic

His favorite part of the whole day was the corn box! He loved feeling the corn kernels and it was just cute and fun to see him in it. Russell and I are really enjoying fall with our sweet son. We truly try to make memories and yes, document it. :) More fall fun updates to come! :)
Have I mentioned Fall is the BEST? :)

Crystal Bridges and a Surprise Party!

The weekend flew by, as usual. I hope y'all had a great one! So Crystal Bridges Museum opened on November 11, 2011. It was a big event in Northwest Arkansas. Russell and I couldn't wait to take time to visit the museum. We finally got a chance to go on Saturday. It was fabulous!
 Soo cool!
We were really excited about it.
So beautiful. I have no words! It's so amazing to go!
Here we are at "Eleven", the restaurant at the museum. I had a Caesar salad and Russell had beans and cornbread-a perfect Arkansas meal. Ha!
We took plenty more pictures, but I don't think I should put them on my blog because of copyright issues, so I didn't post. Y'all will just have to make a trip and see for yourself. The artwork is fabulous. We only saw maybe three galleries, but my favorite was Wonder World. It was awesome.

So February 1st is Russell's birthday. We love our friends up here and we are so happy to be back here, so I thought it would be the perfect time to throw hime a surprise birthday party! My sweet friend, Mandy, helped me with it too. He had absolutely NO clue! When we got to Mandy and Chad's house, he saw balloons in the window and he still didn't know they were for him. He said, "Somebody's having a party." Then we walked in and everyone said, "Surprise!"
It was Razorback themed, of course!
Here is the cake that Rick's Bakery made! They did a wonderful job.
 Russell and the cake!
 Some of our friends
We always have to get a picture taken!
I wish I had gotten more pictures, but we will always remember it!
We had a blast with everyone!!!

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7

July Catch Up

I mentioned in my previous post that I would catch up on this month. Here it is in a nutshell! On the 3rd, we went to Leighann's 1st birthday party! I took so many pictures that I will have to post about that later! That weekend, we stayed with our sweet and special friends, Mandy and Chad. We got to spend plenty of time with them. They mean so much to us! And a BIG congratulations to them because they are expecting a baby in February! They told us about it during our visit and we are SO very happy for them! Mandy and Chad-we love ya'll!

The next week, my sister and niece came to El Dorado with Mama to visit us and see our house. Here's a picture of all the girls.

Later that week Lauren got to spend the night and she was our "first house guest." HA!
Lauren and I woke up extra early the next morning and went to the best doughnut place in town-The Spudnut Shop! Have you ever had a spudnut? OH MY GOODNESS! They are absolutely divine. Lauren looooved hers!

We also shopped a little downtown too.

Lauren absolutely loves dogs and other animals. We went to Life's Ruff Doggie Spa to see the dogs. We had fun! We will have to take Belle there sometime!

Russells best friend, Todd came over and made dinner for us. We had fried fish, fries, hush puppies and ........

FRIED BISCUITS! I know......not the healthiest. But you don't have these every day, ya'll. But when we do eat these every so often, add butter and honey and you have a little piece of heaven here on earth!
Last week Mama and I stayed at my sister's house and we had the best time, like we always do! We had dinner at ZaZa. It was yummmmyyy! Their specialty is the pizza they cook in the wood fire grill. The salads are great too!

I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I did get one with my sweet nephew, Logan. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up!
