My Crazy Hair!

Lately I have been aggravated with my "hair situation!" First of all, I found a new hairstylist almost a year ago. She put I don't know how many colors in my hair (maybe to look more natural-or that's what she said!) Anyway, she talked about everybody under the sun, too! After Russell and I got married, I thought I found an okay stylist....back in October but she kept me there for FOUR hours! She said my hair color needed lots of correction...hmm... Anyway that lady works somewhere else now..don't know where! So finally in December I really thought I found the right one to fix my hair! I liked it for a while then in March, I got my hair colored again and bought this PURPLE shampoo-yes, purple! She said it was for blonde colored hair. Okay so now it is April 25th! I seriously believe it is turning my hair to a much darker color! So it looks really uneven in my opinion! It's really a crazy story, huh? My friend, Christy told me to try another lady. I just may call her and hopefully I'll find someone who can do my hair right and for a long time! THE END!

Jackie and Ricky Visit

This past weekend, Russell's mom and dad came to see us! Friday I made dinner and we watched August Rush (and yes, I cried-yet again!) Saturday we went to War Eagle Mill and ate lunch and browsed in the gift shop. It was so neat! We all enjoyed it. We shopped at the Promenade and had a good time at Lifeway Store also. Then we drove to Tontitown and ate dinner at The Venesian Inn. It was SOOOO good! WOW! Sunday was church and wonderful as always. It was Ricky and Jackie's first time to visit our church with us. They loved the service. Well, that's an update for now!

Looking Forward To:

Oh how excited I am! Friday morning, I am going to Springfield, Missouri with the NWA Mary Kay unit (and riding in the pink Cadillac on the way :) ) to Career Conference! It is my first year to ever go and I absolutely cannot wait! We will learn so much about the business and more about Mary Kay. I bought a Mary Kay Ash Biography DVD last week about Mary Kay and watched it the other day. It was SO moving and Mary Kay Ash was an astounding woman with the wonderful values of God 1st, Family 2nd, and Career 3rd. I went to one of my favorite stores, Chico's, to shop around for clothes for this weekend! The Seminar is in July and I am already gearing up for that! Mary Kay is awesome!

I LOVE EASTER!

Today was a wonderful day! Russell got off work EXTRA early today so we went to the Wal Mart Associate Store, Skia, Lifeway, and Bath and Body Works. To top it off, we celebrated the day by going to Ruth's Chris Steak House! We both had a Buffalo Rib Eye and shared Mashed Potatoes--absolutely delectable. Our steak had a blue cheese crust on top. It was great! Jessica Nix emailed our Sunday School class about an awesome Easter music video that Sara Evans and Brad Paisley sing called New Again. It was such a sweet and sacred song. I love all Easter hymns. We are going to spend Easter weekend with mine and Russell's parents. On our way back home, we will stop at Kelly and Eric's and have a Easter meal! We always LOVE going to their house to see them and our nephew, Logan and niece, Lauren. This is a picture of me from last year telling Lauren and Logan about the story of Easter using the Resurrection Eggs. I love those! They help children understand the real meaning of Easter.

Quick Trip to Eureka Springs

Yesterday Russell and I decided to make a trip to Eureka Springs. We have never been there together but needless to say we didn't plan it well but it's okay though! We went to see Christ of the Ozarks and took pictures as you see. My parents, aunt and I went to a GREAT restaurant a few years ago called Ermilios. I told Russell about it and we decided to try and go last night. We got there and it was closed! Oh well! We just went to The Dixie Cafe (which doesn't even compare to Ermilio's) but it was still fun! This week we will not be that busy! Sometimes it's good to not be too busy!

It's Official!

Last Tuesday, February 26th, I decided to be a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. I ordered my starter kit that night and it arrived in the mail yesterday! FBCB's 125th Anniversary and Experiencing God Study

Today is our church, First Baptist Church Bentonville's 125th Anniversary! The church service this morning was great. We sang really great songs and the choir sang Hallelujah to My King. There was also a slideshow. We also started the Experiencing God Bible study! Russell and I have been anxiously waiting for today because we have been ready to start this awesome study. We know it'll be great and it will even get better when we study with our small groups on Monday nights!
