The blog catch up continues today.
Better late than never, right?
Last year, Russell and I began a new tradition when we traveled to Oklahoma to get a fresh tree for Christmas.
This year, we continued that tradition. We went to the same farm and everything.
We loved looking around at the different kinds of trees. So neat.
We enjoyed it so much and will definitely be back next year!
The other day, I met my sweet friend, Amy for lunch. We also hit up stores at the promenade. Love spending time with Amsie!
It took longer than we wanted it too, but Russell and I decorated our tree the othe night for Christmas. Let me share a confession: Guess who puts the lights on the tree. Not me! Russell does! Everyone knows Russell is much more patient than I am. He also loves tackling big projects, too. He is such a good husband! But I love decorating the tree. We love doing that together.
Our house is also decorated outside for the season. Love it. Also, credits go to Russell!
I have shared a few of my favorite Christmas albums, but this is definitely #1 or #2 on my list. This one and Amy Grant's "A Christmas Album" are in the runnings. I just can't decide! HA!
I hate that I am so behind on blogging. Hopefully I'll catch up soon!

Have you ever heard 'The Promise' by Michael Card? I can seldom listen without weeping because somehow, I listen to that CD and it brings the feelings, emotions of that first Christmas so close to the surface. One year he performed it live in our area with a local college chamber orchestra. It is very special.
