Last Friday was a special day. It was Relay for Life day! Mama and I were on a team for it and our team wore aprons. Our teams's theme was called, "Cookin' for a Cure." Kelly, Logan and Lauren got to come to Camden for it. Here we are in our lil aprons!
Here we all are at the event. We all wore grey ribbons for Daddy.
This is Zoe. She is a cancer survivor! She is 5 years old and too sweet and cute for words! I told Zoe that we would have a special day just for her and we could play games and maybe even play with her dolls together really soon! I just love children. I really do.

So special. I spoke at the relay right before the lighting of all the luminaries. I was trying to promote brain cancer awareness. I also sang, "How You Live", a song by Point of Grace. I was so nervous, but it went very well. The luminaries above say "Hope '10" for this year. It was so neat to be there and I'll never forget it.

That's wonderful Meredith. We'd all love to hear you sing. Can you post a video one day of you singing. I bet it would be great.
Your Dad would be so proud of you.
Meredith, it is great that you did this! I wish I could have heard you!
I have an aunt who is suffering from brain cancer right now. She is actually on her second go round with it.
