Hey ya'll! It's Christmas Eve!
Christmas lights are twinkling, Christmas bells are ringing, carolers are singing! Families are together baking and cooking! Gotta love that!
I thought I would share a couple of my favorite Christmas pictures from my childhood with ya'll! I hope you enjoy! Each one has a story.Christmas Day 1985
This is me and my Daddy. He gave me this bear ornament for my 1st Christmas. I have had it ever since. I love this picture and will cherish it forever! One year for Christmas, I gave Daddy this framed picture. He loved it. I sure do think about him a lot this time of year especially. Daddy adored Christmas!
Oh my goodness! I thought I would share this one too! HA! I know this was taken on Christmas Eve. The stuffed Santa and Mrs. Claus were my grandparents (Nanny and PopPop). Nanny gave them to me later because I loved them so much! :) Mama made my stocking and we also still use it! She did such a great job on the stockings. I think they are so classic for Christmastime! Last but not least, I am holding "Russell Bear". I named the bear Russell Bear because I was 3 or so years old when I got it for Christmas. Russell and Mary (good family friends) gave it to me and I just named him "Russell Bear" because of him! Who would have thought I would later meet a handsome man from McNeil and marry a "Russell Price"? That is something, huh? Anyway, I better go.
Remember the REAL reason for the season! That is Jesus' birth!
Fear not; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:10-11

I miss my dad too. He has been gone longer than yours. I still miss him.
