Weight Watchers Wednesday: Working it Out!
Happy Wednesday, y'all! I meant to work on this blog entry and post it before now, but it is STILL Wednesday and that's what counts, right? :) I wanted to share a couple of quick things with you.
I love the Skinnytaste website. I found this awesome PB & J smoothie recipe and love it. It may sound a little strange to some people, but I loved it, and thought it was so easy. It is only 6 PPV and it's filling, too.
Let's talk about getting fit. I am certainly not where I would like to be, but I am working on it and that's what matters. Mary Kay Ash always said, "It's not where you start, it's how you finish." And I definitely agree with her. I know it's hard for some people to go to the gym. For one, it can be pretty pricey; also others prefer the outdoors or even the motivation to get up and get moving.
I put my tennis shoes on and go! I still do Walk Away the Pounds some, but since I started back on WW on July 3rd, we have been walking in our neighborhood or a local trail. It's great for us to get out there and go. God's creation is beyond gorgeous, so we love to let Jackson "experience" the outdoors on our walks.
I love these elastic hair bands. They are great for pulling your hair back or keeping your hair out of the way. When I reach small goals, I try to make it fun and "reward" myself with something like this. They have really cute designs out there as well.
I have lost 7.8 pounds since July 3rd! Tomorrow is weigh in day and I hope the scale goes down!
Find your favorite way of working it out and do it. For me, it's walking. What's your favorite way to work out?
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 1 Corinthians 6:19

Trolley Ride, New Babysitter, Photo Shoot, and More!
I hope y'all have had a great weekend! We have had a fun filled few days for sure.
Thursday night, we went to our favorite fast food restaurant, Chick-fil-A. It was Jackson's 1st time there. It will be a little while longer until he can try their waffle fries. :) He was so happy and already loves that place just like Mommy and Daddy do. :)
Friday, Jackson got his Fisher-Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat! It is the cutest thing to see him sitting up. We just love seeing him happy.
We went for a family night on the town on Friday. Jackson went on his very 1st trolley ride. He waited so patiently for the trolley to arrive downtown. It only ran for two days for a trial run, so we were glad we got a chance to go.
The spark café soda fountain!
Jackson slept through it all. :)
So fun!
Jackson had such an awesome babysitter on Saturday night. Demi got to come spend time with him and give him lots of hugs. He was so good for her and we are so glad.
On our way to dinner and a movie. We saw the movie, The Fault in Our Stars. It was very good and I recommend it for sure.
Thank you, Demi, for babysitting our sweet boy!
Today, we went to church, had lunch, and took some pictures together!
He is a little heart melter!
My baby boy!
Oh so sweet!
Beautiful flowers!
Smile, sweetie!
Russell is such a wonderful dad!
Jackson hopes y'all have a fabulous week! XOXO!

Back at It...Weight Watchers Wednesday!
Weight Watchers Wednesday is back, y'all! I'm just going to get right to the point. Once I found out I was pregnant last August, I was kind of ready to be on a "Weight Watchers break." I did not want anything healthy and I gained quite a bit of weight back when I was pregnant. EEK. Yikes. Let's just leave it at that. However, I ALWAYS said that I would get right back on Weight Watchers as soon as I could. On July 3rd, I joined again and I am already so glad I did. I have lost 6.6 pounds already!
We enjoyed these yummy chocolate chip clouds from Skinnytaste. They are SO awesome, only 1 point per cookie, and great to make for a party or get together. My sweet Russell made these and he did a great job!
I made this Skinny Mom Deep Dish Taco Pizza, guacamole, and had chips with it. It was SO great!
So tomorrow is weigh in. My sweet friend, Jenna, has been encouraging me so much. She is also doing Weight Watchers and we walk with our boys a few times a week. I am so ready to see big results and I am not giving up until I hit goal. It's possible!
I am just loving this sweet lil Jackson Bear. He is one of the main reasons I am back at it for sure! So-those who are doing Weight Watchers-welcome back to Weight Watchers Wednesday!

Randomocity
This summer weather has been wonderful! It has not been too warm at all and we have taken advantage and walked a lot lately.
One day last week, it was extra cool and we dressed Jackson in long sleeves. Russell and Jackson-best buddies on our walk!
Aww! We loved the weather!
Jackson has been doing tummy time and floor time more and more every day. He loves Sophie the Giraffe for sure! :)
We also went to Cracker Barrel last week and we are thrilled that Bentonville finally has one! We love his warm and sweet cuddles. HA! :)
He is officially THREE months!!
Look at this smiley boy. His smile just makes us that much happier! LOVE!
On a totally random note, Bath and Body Works had a sale on candles recently and we had a coupon so we got a couple of candles. This is my VERY favorite. Pink Apple Punch is the best one. :) It smells just like a fruit roll up to me. HA! I know my random mind can be boring sometimes. OH well! I hope y'all are having an awesome week!

Jackson's Peter Rabbit Nursery
Hey everybody! Jackson wants to say hi to y'all!
Hello from Jackson! Mommy is going to show y'all my room. I love it and I hope y'all will enjoy a little sneak peek. :) Love, JRP
Come on in to little Jackson's nursery. My sweet friend, Sarah, made this sign for me. It's so cute!
Here is what you see right when you walk in. If you can't tell, the theme is Peter Rabbit. The nursery is very traditional and classic. I wanted the nursery to be soft colors and perfect for baby Jackson to enjoy. We chose Jenny Lind furniture and it ended up to be absolutely perfect.
Changing table and dresser. I have not found a good changing pad cover yet. It's still on my to-do list. HA!
A few details on the dresser. The treasury of Peter Rabbit book set was mine.
I plan to get shelves. Another thing on my to-do list. HA!
Jemima Puddle Duck night light, framed picture of sweet J, and the sound machine we use every night for Jackson.
Books!
Peter Rabbit clock
More books!
I can't wait til Jackson can wear this! Perfect!
I'm back! Thank you for visiting my room. I am such a happy baby and that makes Mommy and Daddy happy, too. Hope you have a wonderful day!
Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Jeremiah 32:17

Happy Birthday, EBE!
Today is my brother-in-law, Eric's birthday!
I wish I could remember when or where this was taken. I think I was 13 or so. Kelly and Eric started dating when I was probably 5 years old (maybe younger) and they have been together ever since!
4th of July! Logan was so little!
Christmas 2013 at Kelly and Eric's house!
Eric holding Jackson for the first time. Too sweet.
Lauren, Kelly, Logan and Eric in Savannah, one of their favorite places ever!
Eric, I hope you have had a wonderful day so far! We love you lots!
This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Leighann's Frozen Birthday Party
July 14th is Leighann's 5th Birthday! She had the cutest Frozen birthday party on Saturday.
So very fun!
Elsa and Anna even came by to meet the birthday girl!
Jackson was so good at the party. He was just as sweet as ever. :) It was his first birthday party to attend.
Aunt Debbie just loved seeing Jackson!
Elsa and Leighann. So very sweet!
Elsa and Anna loved Jackson. He was the youngest one there. :)
I am even a Frozen fan. Y'all know I am a kid at heart!
Me, Jackson and Amy!
All the girls singing "Let It Go," and "Do You Wanna Build A Snowman?" It was perfect!
Shondri loved holding Jackson too!
Shondri, Will, Lydia, and Bonnie
"Happy Birthday to YOU!"
Russell and LeiLei!
Leighann and her buddy, Keenan.
Too funny! We enjoyed it all! Leighann, I hope you have a wonderful 5th birthday! Love you lots!
