Happy Birthday to Jenny Rose!

Today, my sweet cousin, Jennifer is 25! This is a picture of me and her when we were very little! We grew up together and always were together!

This is a hard post

On September 23rd, my precious Daddy was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I did not post about any of this on my blog simply because I didn't want to just tell all the world or talk about it a lot on the internet. In October, he had surgery to have it removed. Daddy had radiation and chemotherapy. He fought and fought. He was sooo strong through all of it. It was a very aggressive tumor. After so much fighting, he went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19th.

I will miss him soo very much. I love him more than I can explain. I will miss calling him at work every day. Daddy was a friendly, sweet, genuine man; a man of integrity and left a legacy that I promise I will live by for the rest of my life. He made a difference in my life more than I can say. His smile melted our hearts. His friendliness and kindness was contagious. He made everyone feel special.

He was the best Daddy ever. Kelly and I will never ever forget the memories we have with him.

Daddy was a precious man.

Daddy, we will always love you. I will never forget what you taught me. I LOVE YOU.

Start Spreading The NEWS!

My mama and daddy made the news! I posted a couple of weeks ago about their 40th wedding anniversary. We didn't know exactly when they would be in the paper, but here it is! They are in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette. It was in there on February 8th (Sunday). I know this picture is small, but I just wanted to share my excitement with ya'll! They are high school sweethearts, you know!

1st Christy's Queens Meeting!

Tonight was our very FIRST Christy Cox Unit meeting for Mary Kay! Can you tell I am excited here? HA!

A couple of weeks ago, Christy went to Phoenix, AZ for Director Leadership conference and awarded Karen her "Arizona hat" for being queen of sales for the week! Go Karen!

Christy has a lot of unit members but since we are just getting started with our unit, we had 5 there at our meeting tonight. BUT Christy will have a big debut party on Saturday with TONS of people there! It is going to be so great! A few of my friends will be there too!

It has almost been a year since I started MK. I am still learning a lot but I love it and I am so glad Christy is now a Director! Christy, I know you read this so.....I am so happy for you! I love your chocolate brown suit! And again, Congratulations!

Sunday School Super Bowl Party

Tonight was the Super Bowl party at Jennie and David's house! They are our Sunday School teachers and we are so blessed we have them as not only teachers but friends! Here is everybody watching the Cardinals and Steelers.
