Mary Kay Time!

My friend, Christy came over this morning and did my make-up and I tried different lotions and skincare products too. Christy sells Mary Kay and loves it too. She did my "glam look". She has the best personality and is so fun. I will probably switch to Mary Kay soon! I love it! We took a couple of pictures. Thanks, Christy!

Jennifer's Tea

Today was my cousin, Jennifer's announcement Tea in Camden. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it there. I sure was thinking about her though! Jennifer Rose Jordan is engaged to Matthew Euler. They will be married on July 12, 2008. Here is a picture of both of us at my Announcement Coffee in April. The next picture is of Jennifer and Matt on the day of Russell and my wedding. Jennifer was a beautiful bridesmaid. I will be a bridesmaid in her wedding. Congratulations again, Jennifer and Matt! We Love ya'll!

Seven Random Things

Judy tagged me! Here are 7 random things about me....
1. I love to shop, but one of my very favorite places to shop is Lifeway Christian Store. I could spend all day in there! It just makes everyone feel uplifted when you're in that store!

2. My family loves to cook and I have that same love! Sometimes, I could read cookbooks rather than a novel.

3. I am absolutely terrified of snakes, bugs, spiders, lizards, anything like that! I know lots of people are, but I think I'm worse than most people. I just can't even think about them!

4. I love pictures! I love taking pictures of family and looking at them too.

5. I am a movie buff. Well, with certain movies. I don't like horror films or action ones, but Russell loves them! We have a whole collection of movies (my favorites and his). I can't wait to get August Rush.

6. Music is a big part of my life. I love to sing, go to Broadway plays, concerts and listen to music. I like varieties of music like Gershwyn, songs by Patsy Cline, The Phantom of the Opera, some oldies, and of course Celine Dion, and Christian music.

7. As you can tell, family is everything to me. I love my husband Russell, my parents, sister, brother-in-law, Logan and Lauren, and all the rest of our family! They are SO great!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Russell and I have had a great day! After I woke up I found this sign on the bedroom door that Russell made. How sweet! After he got home from work, we went to such a great restaurant-The Sanctuary. It was a very fancy romantic dinner. We enjoyed it a lot! This was our first time to go there too. Russell said that since it is our first Valentine's Day as a married couple, he wanted to make it special. It really was. We had a 4 course meal and I got to take home a red rose. He got some good gifts too. I got him candy, a checkbook cover with a Bible verse on it, and a Max Lucado Bible Study book for married couples. I love you, Russell!

Razorback Basketball Game

We had such a great day! Our apartment manager cooked omelets for residents of The Glen, and they were sooo good! We visited with a few friends there then we went to run errands for a few hours. We had Jose's for lunch. We got to Fayetteville early for the basketball game. It was our first one to go to and we had a blast! Russell lost his voice because he was yelling SO much! What a great game against Ole Miss. The score was 75-69 and we won! WOOOO PIG SOOIEE! I got a blouse at J. Jill (thanks to my sister, Kelly who recommending them!) and I love it! Tomorrow is church!

Super Bowl

Sunday was the Super Bowl! Our really good friends, Amy and Tony haven't been over in a while just because we've all been busy so we decided that Sunday night would be a good night to have them over. Russell and I cooked all afternoon for it! We made mini cheeseburgers, beefy cheesy dip, bacon crisps, potato skins and had pinwheels for the meal. For dessert we had peanut butter mousse cups and chocolate chip dip! I felt like Paula Deen on a mission to get it all cooked before the coin toss! ha! You can tell Russell and Tony are seriously discussing the game!

New Members of FBC Bentonville

Today has been great so far! Russell and I have been visiting First Baptist Bentonville since October. We have LOVED that wonderful church from the first time we stepped in the door. We decided to join this morning! God led us there and we are sooo thankful for the church, staff, and the people who attend there. One word I can think of is....BLESSED! The service this morning was great also!

Happy Birthday Russell!

Today is Russell's 24th birthday! What a wonderful person he is! Tonight we celebrated by going to Abuelo's Mexican restaurant. YUMO! It was sooo good! Before Russell got home from work, I decorated the table with "24" confetti and gifts. He also got an ice cream cake from Cold Stone Creamery. It's called Cake Batter Confetti....more yum. Every year, I put a small Valentine twist to his birthday because it's the beginning of February! This year, I just gave him that heart sack. ha! Well I'll have to post snow pictures later. I Love you Russell!
