Price Quarantine

We have been quarantined for 23 days so far. The picture above is one of the first viral pictures I saw about coronavirus. Joshua 1:9 is one of my very favorite verses.

We have tried very hard to think positive and keep on the sunny side of all this. I wanted this time to be memorable even though it's challenging. Here are some of our fun times:

So a funny fact: Jackson calls it the "conola virus." Love him. He makes me smile!
Jackson loves maps. It was time to work a USA puzzle!
One of the local toy stores offers curbside delivery. We picked out three surprises for Jackson and he got to open them when we got home. This was probably on day 10 or so. :)
Giant bubbles!!! So fun to do outside.
Can we say PUZZLES??? We worked this puzzle a few days ago and wow. 500 pieces of .....blue, blue, and more blue!!! Russell worked most of this puzzle.
 Cars puzzle!
Have you heard of "Going on a Bear Hunt?" Put a bear in your window so other kids and families will spot it. Go for a walk or a drive and see how many bears you can find. We found 60 something bears and/or stuffed animals one day.
 I adore this little boy!
You just have to laugh. :D
Plus Plus puzzle time! These things are so fun. Jackson called these Hulk and Spider Man. :)
 Who can relate???
Zoom! Who hasn't used Zoom to chat with their class, family, or friends? He felt super professional.
Let's be honest. Corona, Rona, or Conola ....whatever it's called makes us hungry.
We got takeout one Sunday for brunch after we livestreamed our church service. Good Sunday morning, y'all. Just sayin.'
Such a good book so far.
 A tangible reminder.
 Beautiful tulips!!!
Here's where I get a little weary. So Jackson's teacher sent him hearts in the mail with sweet words of encouragement. He was so very happy to get them the other day.
Our governor just announced that online school or AMI will continue for the rest of the year.
Here's our boy working hard.
I honestly will have to hold off on my thoughts and feelings about finishing school via online.
I will miss my students dearly as well.
To be continued.....

I hope y'all are doing well. Praying this virus goes away asap!

Our school sent out an update with a bible verse that spoke volumes to me and summed it up for us during this time.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and devoted to prayer. Romans 12:12

Belle Diana

More catching up means sharing some sad news from August.
Belle was our sweet girl for almost eleven years. She went to the rainbow bridge on the first day of school, August 14, 2019.

Here are just a few of our favorite memories with her.
Our little family in 2008. Jackson was born in 2014.
Belle enjoyed ice cream from Andy's. She was so little!
Belle loved posing for pictures! Little diva!

A boy's best friend!
They loved being together and causing mischief! :)

She also loved sleeping with the sun shining on her.
We will always love our Belle, our SueSue, Bellisima, Bellie. Thank you for always being there, sweet girl!

But ask the animals, and they will teach you.... In his hand is the life of  every creature and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:7, 10

Lots of Catching Up to Do

How long has it been since I have last blogged? FIVE YEARS?!?!?!
My word, y'all. There is sooo much to catch up on. As Jackson's Kindergarten year approached in 2019, the Lord prompted me to be diligent in finding a job. I had several interviews, drove to several elementary schools and preschools and hand delivered my resume, did a lot of praying, waiting, and more. God showed up in a MIGHTY WAY, y'all. It's amazing to see Him working in each step. I had an interview at the end of July, and was hired the first of August.
Can you tell I was excited? I am currently a preschool teacher. I teach adorable 4 and 5 year old kids and I absolutely adore it.
 My classroom door all decorated.
August 2019
BONUS! Jackson gets to go to school with me every day! Here he is with his sweet friend, Harper. Right before open house at school.
Here is our sweet boy reading The Night Before Kindergarten, such a sweet book!
Time with friends is our favorite thing ever!
A couple of my favorite PK4 teachers, Crystal and Rebecca. They are such sweet ladies and prayer warriors!

October 2019
Jackson went on his very first camping trip with Russell! It was their first camping trip together and so fun!
Daddy and son time! These boys love trail life!
Can I just kiss his sweet cheeks?
Another thing the Price fam has been up to is going to Silver Dollar City! We rode plenty of rides and saw awesome shows, and more! SDC's Pumpkin Nights was superb!
Look at this giant cinnamon roll! This sweet boy LOVES sweets! Maybe that's what makes him so sweet! HAHA!

Well, that's all the recap for now.
I will say that the encouragement to catch up on blogging is.....
yes...... Covid-19. We currently are out of school until April 17th.
I miss my class so much. They are all blessings to me.

Be filled with Joy!

Oh my word, y'all. Christmas is just DAYS away. Can you believe it? I have been running way behind on blogging again....surprise, surprise. Here's a few "holiday highlights" from some this season.
Mama and  got to go to the Point of Grace and Selah concert together back before Thanksgiving and loved it so much! It was such a great time of worship and also brought back memories from POG circa 1995! :)
My fave...Point of Grace. We also met POG and Selah afterwards. They were so sweet!
Kelly and Lauren got to come to NWA to see the Bentonville Lighting of the Square. It was so fun and special. And what a COLD night!
 Jackson Randolph discovering Christmas lights.
 Lauren and me!
 Staying warm on the square.
Me and my sweet baby boy!
 Christmas tree at Lawrence Plaza
All together in front of the pretty tree. Oh, what FUN!
Earlier this month, Russell and I went to his work party. It was so nice and good to catch up with some of his coworkers and friends.
Tony, Amy, Russell and me
We try to take an annual pic like this every year because I am so glad Russell and Tony work together. I have mentioned this before but Amy is my best friend and she and Russell are cousins. :)
Later that same week, we went to a wonderful live nativity. There were hundreds, maybe even over a thousand people there. There was entertainment first, then the "journey to Bethlehem" live nativity.
 Fun entertainment!
It truly was inspiring and amazing. What a tearjerker it was, as it truly brought what Mary, Joseph, and Jesus went through and experienced as they made the journey to Bethlehem, and after they had baby Jesus. It was great! I definitely cried tears of joy and gratefulness. This journey was so authentic. It truly felt like we were on our way to Bethlehem with live animals and it's free!
They also offered hot chocolate or cider and cookies after the journey.
Russell, Jackson, me, Tony, Amy, and Leighann. What fun we had!
Glory to God in the HIGHEST!
Here are a few random "Christmas happies."
Christmas Tree Spode, musical Santa, and my Joy candle from Bath and Body Works. A few of my favorite things.... :)
I made cinnamon ornaments for the first time. They were SO easy and did not disappoint! I will make these again for sue! They sure smell good on our tree! :)
It has been so wonderful attending women's bible study every Tuesday this Fall.  I went to our Christmas Luncheon a couple of weeks ago, and it was fabulous. Look at this pretty decoration on our table! Thanks to sweet Carole!
It has also been a blessing to sing with the 4W praise team every few weeks as well. I got to know sweet Nicole and Whitney these past few months. They are so fun and talented!!
Russell and I took Jackson to the square and 5 and 10 store. Oh, it was so sweet watching him sit in the sleigh. We took a similar picture last year. My heart! :)
Joy to the World!
Jackson is so excited about Christmas! He adores his reindeer, Rudolph.
Looking in the window with Daddy!
We couldn't let the night go by without looking at the nativity. Oh, so wonderful to see every time.
Jackson was also enthused by the ice skating rink! :)

So that's part 1 of  "blog catch up." We are counting down the days til December 25th!

When they saw the star, they were filled with JOY! Matthew 2:10
