Five Years of Blessings

Today is our 5 year wedding anniversary. WOW! Five years flies by quickly!
It has been an eventful five years, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!
I loved Russell from the very beginning. I knew he was extra special, but so much more than that. I knew that he was the one God chose for me to spend the rest of my life with.
Here we are on our very first date- (blind date)! I would say we hit it off pretty quickly! :)
The proposal was truly wonderful and exciting. It was around Christmastime, on December 9, 2006.
So romantic and exciting!
Our wedding...it was wonderful in more ways than one! :)
We promised to love, honor, cherish from that day on!
Here we are today.
Those of you who have known us throughout these years know what a journey it has been. We have been through moving SEVEN times, my Daddy going to heaven, Russell losing his job three and a half years ago, new jobs, and more. But there have also been the best blessings ever. From each and every hardship, comes more happiness through Jesus. Seriously. If it weren't for Him, we would not and could not be as happy as we are now. He is the ultimate healer, ultimate giver, ultimate Father! But I believe this is our journey. God has already written our love story and our testimony throughout our marriage. I also believe He can use both Russell and myself to encourage other people who have gone through some of the same hardships we faced in the past.
I will say, I have never been happier and love Russell more and more each day!
Happy 5 year Anniversary, Russell!
Love, Meredith

Ruth 1:16.. But Ruth replied, "Do not urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.
