The Royal Wedding

It is finally official! Catherine and William are officially married! Their new titles are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. I woke up at 3:00 Friday morning to watch the live wedding coverage. Get ready for loads and loads of pictures, y'all! Here (above) is Catherine in her wonderful wedding dress. I squealed in delight as she gracefully walked out of the car. She looked absolutely stunning and absolutely breathtaking, I thought!
Here are Catherine and her dad, Michael walking down the very long aisle in Westminster Abbey. I cry or tear up every time I see a father and daughter walking down the aisle. So special!
William and Kate were soo precious during the ceremony. You can tell that they are absolutely head over heels for one another!

Waving at the happy crowd while riding in the 1902 State Landau carriage

William and Kate's kiss! There wasn't just one kiss--there were TWO kisses on the balcony! So cute and sweet, I thought!
Look at this picture! Here is a sweet and cute bridesmaid who thought those planes were too loud! Sooo funny!

I think William and Kate love children. I loved Kate's dress in this picture.
Look at this wedding cake! I think it was absolutely beautiful. There were many flowers on the cake.
Just Wed! Catherine and William drive away in the classic Aston Martin Volante.
Here is Kate in her second wedding dress just for the reception. So pretty.

Here are a few more wedding highlights.
Harry, two of the bridesmaids, and a page boy ride in a carriage.
Pippa had a huge responsibility. She was practically responsible for all the children AND the beautiful bride!! Whew! Everyone looked fantastic, though!
 Catherine's mother looked soo classic.
Oh, I am so glad Queen Elizabeth smiled! She always seems soo serious! HA!
Beatrice and her crazy hat! Goodness.
 I was sooooooo excited!
We even got royal wedding cupcakes. Weren't they cute and pretty?

The wedding was everything I imagined it would be. I am a sucker for romance and have always loved Princess Diana and family. Sorry this was such a long post, but hope y'all enjoyed!!! I wish William and Kate a lifetime of love and happiness. :)

All Girls Are Princesses

YAY! It's almost here! The wedding of the century has almost arrived! I love this picture of William and Catherine just released today. I think it is so sweet!
These girls will always be princesses! Russell and I kept four precious kiddos tonight. Katherine looked sooo precious in her "Belle" crown we got her. She adores--absolutely adores Beauty and the Beast.
Here are the "Estes cousins" at our house! Logan--so handsome, Katherine--what a "beauty" , Lauren--great assistant tonight, and Baby Allie--what a precious doll! We had a great time keeping these sweeties.
I have to confess--I may not sleep tonight. Sometimes I don't fall asleep until 2 in the morning anyway and William and Kate's wedding coverage on TV starts at like 3 I think. We will see. I am sure I will watch Lifetime's "William and Kate" movie again.
And I will probably look at my new Royal Wedding book and older Princess Diana magazines from when I was younger. Am I obsessed? Some may think so, but I am not one of those major collectors that I see on TV! I will not get that bad! I am just a sucker for romance and excitement! Well, here's to lots of well wedding wishes for the couple!

Worthy Is The Lamb--Easter 2011

He Is Risen! Wow! Today has been great! This morning, we went to church with Mama at my home church in Camden. I sang in the choir. We sang Via Dolorosa and it went so good! I love singing for Him! I saw my precious cousin, Ann Marie and we snapped a pic!
Aren't these little "bunnies" cute? Ian and Sarah Cate are so precious! I used to babysit them years ago! Makes me so nostalgic!!
Here's me and my Easter sweetie.

Tonight, we went to Central Baptist in Magnolia to see the "Living Last Supper". It was out of this world awesome, ya'll! So inspirational and told the Easter story so well.
Everyone that was involved in the drama/musical did such a fantastic job.
Here's girls dancing to a song!

Here they are depicting the Last Supper before Jesus' crucifixion. After this, our camera died-bummer!  We really enjoyed Easter, as always. Hope y'all have a great week!

Happy Easter and A Happy Birthday!

Guess who has an Easter birthday today?!?! Lauren! Happy "Easter" Birthday, Lauren! She is NINE years old! Lauren, you are growing up so fast! You are wonderful, awesome, and beautiful. Always remember how special you are. It is so special that you have a birthday on Easter this year. Remember that Jesus died for you and He Loves YOU! Your Aunt Mer loves you too! XOXO!

So Happy Easter, everyone! I know this is not an "Easter" song, but it is amazing. I have watched it several times and cry every time I watch this. Carrie Underwood is one of my favorite singers ever! Prepare to be touched!

Royal Wedding Countdown!

April 29th is the big day! Prince William and Kate's wedding day, of course. Ten days from today, the royal wedding will take place. I don't know about y'all, but this southern girl is excited!!!! HA!
Hundreds of thousands of people will be watching this wedding and yep, I will be one of them.
I am actually going to be up very early in the morning to watch this big event. The wedding begins at 4 in the morning our time. Not to mention watching Kate ride to the Westminster Abbey. Y'all are probably wondering why I am not going to just DVR it and watch it later. I know I must be crazy, but I just want to watch it live! I was thinking about celebrating with Russell and making a pound cake with fruit layers because the wedding cake will be a layered fruit cake. Interesting, huh? I may even make a fancy dinner for that night too just for fun! Royal Wedding Countdown:10 days!

Living Proof Live

How do I start about Beth Moore Living Proof Live weekend? I will say first off, that my heart was open to what the Lord wanted and needed to show me this weekend.
Friday night was our first session with sweet Beth Moore. Oh, how I wish I could meet her someday! Wow! That would be just A-MA-ZING! Not only is Beth Moore awesome, but she is from Arkansas, y'all!!! Her first words she uttered were, "Hello, Arkansas," and she began to tear up, and I teared up also! EEK!
I finally got to meet precious Caroline on Friday. I could not wait to hug her neck! It was awesome meeting her!!!

The main focus for this weekend was about fulfilling your ministry that God has planned for you. I learned so much, I cannot even tell y'all how much. I did learn that we have to learn the art of PURE Perseverence!!!!!! Also we have to learn to endure the hard for the sake of the good. I also learned one simple thing. It seems so simple but can also be so simple to forget to do. LOVE others. We shouldn't say, "OK, Lord. I "love" this person and not mean it. We should show our brothers and sisters in Christ real and genuine love for one another. Sometimes in simple ways by possibly taking a little time out of our busy schedules to listen to what a friend has to say. Take time to love one another! Love Love Love! I am twenty five years old. I believe God has a plan for each one of us and we all need to seek that plan out and live by it!

So today (Saturday) was awesome too of course!
I saw Laurie and got to talk with her for a little while this morning. Laurie is just adorable. I have known her all my life. She has such a spiritual gift of encouragment.  I love you, Laurie!
This is most of our group! Christy, Claire, Kellye, Jen, and me! Girls--I am sooo overjoyed we got to spend this weekend together and share lots of love and laughter too! So glad I got to know y'all even better! Hugs and Kisses to y'all!

These sweet 3 ladies are sweet gifts! I have practically known Janet all of my life as well. She was one of my mentors in high school and high school Sunday School teacher. Christy is just a joy to be around too! She was also another mentor for me right before Russell and I got married. Lastly, I have known Kellye since high school and yes, she's the harp player from my previous post!

Here's sweet Mandy! She is also my adorable friend! I have also known her forever practically! We have tons of memories when we were in high school and youth together. Mandy works for DaySpring--Soo cool! I think that is just so neat! Love you, Mandy!

I have to share another amazing thing that happened throughout the weekend. I swear I saw about 20 people I knew at the conference. If any of ya'll are reading this today, please know that it was awesome seeing each one of you even if I just yelled, "hey" to y'all for a quick second! Ha!
Perhaps someone is reading this and they may feel heartbroken or hurt about a situation and need prayer and an encouraging word. First, know that God loves you. Know that I would love to pray for you. My email is listed at the right.
Loads of Love for all of you today and every day!
