It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like...Christmas!

Christmas Trees, lights, garland. What do all these mean? I am going to post about why these kind of things are a part of Christmas. Today is about the poinsettia.

The poinsettia originated in Mexico. It is known as the flower of the Holy night. Usually, we see red poinsettias, which remind us of the blood Jesus shed on the cross. The poinsettia also remind us that wise men still seek Him. I love the poinsettia plant. It is not only beautiful, but meaningful as well!

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. Luke 2:8
