July Catch Up

I mentioned in my previous post that I would catch up on this month. Here it is in a nutshell! On the 3rd, we went to Leighann's 1st birthday party! I took so many pictures that I will have to post about that later! That weekend, we stayed with our sweet and special friends, Mandy and Chad. We got to spend plenty of time with them. They mean so much to us! And a BIG congratulations to them because they are expecting a baby in February! They told us about it during our visit and we are SO very happy for them! Mandy and Chad-we love ya'll!

The next week, my sister and niece came to El Dorado with Mama to visit us and see our house. Here's a picture of all the girls.

Later that week Lauren got to spend the night and she was our "first house guest." HA!
Lauren and I woke up extra early the next morning and went to the best doughnut place in town-The Spudnut Shop! Have you ever had a spudnut? OH MY GOODNESS! They are absolutely divine. Lauren looooved hers!

We also shopped a little downtown too.

Lauren absolutely loves dogs and other animals. We went to Life's Ruff Doggie Spa to see the dogs. We had fun! We will have to take Belle there sometime!

Russells best friend, Todd came over and made dinner for us. We had fried fish, fries, hush puppies and ........

FRIED BISCUITS! I know......not the healthiest. But you don't have these every day, ya'll. But when we do eat these every so often, add butter and honey and you have a little piece of heaven here on earth!
Last week Mama and I stayed at my sister's house and we had the best time, like we always do! We had dinner at ZaZa. It was yummmmyyy! Their specialty is the pizza they cook in the wood fire grill. The salads are great too!

I didn't take a lot of pictures, but I did get one with my sweet nephew, Logan. I cannot believe how fast he is growing up!

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12

I have no idea what a spudnut is, but I am now dying to find out!

We used to get fried biscuits at a restaurant in the Southern part of our state. Should have known people do make them elsewhere! Maybe I will move to El Dorado. A doggie spa and a donut shop are tops on my list! :)
