Christmas Part 2 and Russell's 1st Day on the Job

We were soo busy around Christmas last month!
The Saturday after Christmas we headed to Jackie and Ricky's (R's parents) and had our Christmas get together with family. We had a fun time!
Preston got a marshmallow shooter for Christmas and he and Russell had such fun with that! Well, we all did, actually! :)

Belle got scared and hid behind B.J. Some of ya'll may have heard of the country group, "Colt Ford"? B.J is actually a back up singer and plays keyboard for the group! He works very hard. He's Russell's cousin!

I had to get a snapshot with Lori! She is so sweet and we love to catch up with things going on!

Sunday we headed to Central AR. and had another family Christmas at my Aunt Dodie's house. Here's a quick pic of the guys (and yes, I made them get together for this pic!).

Logan got a footaball from my aunt for Christmas. The guys tried to air it up a little more and they ended up busting the football! Russell turned it inside out and Logan decided it would look hilarious as a hat! HA! Isn't that hilarious, ya'll?!

I made "Death by Chocolate" for dessert. It is my favorite! So yummy!

Russell started his 1st day at Murphy USA on the 28th. I woke up early and made him scrambled eggs, toast and bacon for a big breakfast. He looked so handsome, I thought!
He has enjoyed work so much! I pray for everyone out there who is still looking for jobs. I know it can be very hard. Just remember the verse below. I find it to be very encouraging. But remember to check back in a day or 2 to see New Year's Eve and our trip to Louisiana!
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.
