Christmas Catch Up 2009

I know, I know, my blogging has been so slow lately but I am catching up starting today, ya'll! A few days before Russell and I moved, our special friends from NWA, Mandy and Chad, met us for dinner.
We had a great visit. Mandy and Chad are so special to us and we will miss them lots! But we will miss SO many other friends there as well.

Anyway, in between that and Christmas events, we spent our time packing, packing, packing, and moving! HA! Before we knew it, it was Christmas!
One of the traditions the Jordans/Delezens have always done every Christmas is on the 23rd of December, (the night before Christmas Eve), we meet together, swap gifts, visit, and of course eat! HA!
Mary and Russell, Laurie and Steve, and Emily and Sarah Kate met our family for dinner at a local restaurant in town and then had dessert at Mama's! Emily LOVED our sweet dog, Belle! She almost took Belle home with her! :)

Sarah Kate LOVED the Christmas music box. Every time a song ended, she would clap her hands and say, "Yaaaaaay!" It was sooo cute!

It was so good to visit with Laurie and Steve. I have known Laurie and her family all my life!

Mama and her best friend, Mary with sweet Sarah Kate!
Mama and I love Christmas as you can tell by our facial expressions! I just love my Mama!

Here is Russell and Mama too!

Russell and I spent Christmas Eve at Jackie and Ricky's. Here is their tree surrounded w/ presents for family.

R.J. did NOT like that bow! I just had to take a picture!

We had a good time with Jackie and Ricky on Christmas. I made breakfast casserole for Christmas morning breakfast. I always do that every Christmas.

Christmas Day, we traveled to Little Rock and had Christmas at Kelly and Eric's house!

Look at Logan and Lauren with their "Christmas Crackers!" After Christmas dinner we grabbed our neighbors cracker on the left and held the right end of it. Then we all pulled it on the count of 3! Then confetti came out and we all got a small trinket and special message inside. It was FUN!

Isn't their tree beautiful? It's fresh too. The mantle was also decorated, along with the table and chandelier.

Kelly made these YUMMY cookies. I thinkI mentioned before how she makes the best sugar cookies in the universe!

We had Chocolate Mousse for dessert. It was great! We really enjoyed Christmas this year.
I will update with part 2 soon! Stay tuned!
