My Kindergarten Teacher

Okay! This is just too funny. This lady is Laura Wilkins. Here is a story!
I went to a small school in Kindergarten called Cornerstone Christian School. Believe it or not, there was only ONE class and well, I was in that class. Our teacher was Ms Wilkins! The school closed the next year and all of us in that class of course went seperate ways...you know...moving, etc. I have always been that kind of person that LOVES to stay in touch with people and LOVES to reminisce. I may have seen her once after that Kindergarten year and then....never knew where she moved to.

Okay! Now part 2 of the story!
I was browsing on the famous Facebook and was on my friend Christy's page and saw the name and picture of Ms Wilkins. I thought, hmm...that pic is so small, I don't know if that is really my former teacher. And so I messaged her just in case and asked her if she ever lived in Camden. She messaged me tonight and said she remembered me and lives really close in this area!

Ya'll I just think that is so funny. I have to say. I thought about my blog friend, Caroline and know that when she's so surprised and excited she says, "SHUT UP SHUT UP!" I thought that same way! HA!

So tell me after this LONG post, have ya'll ever been in a situation where you met someone after years and years? I am sure ya'll have!

MY dad married her and her husband (they are now divorced) and her former in-laws are from Flippin. And her mother was Laurie and I's Sunday School teacher for several years in Fayetteville. :-)

I haven't ran into anyone from my past since living here because my family and I are from California. However, also via the famous facebook, I have reconnected with some of my middle school friends!

That is too cool! I sometimes run into people, but not very often.

That is so neat that you found her. I love catching up with and staying in touch with people that have meant a lot to me too.
